And the fabric is coated with a food-safe polyurethane liner, so it is grease/moisture resistant.

Verdict: I think this is a good box for a back-to-school month! (I'm guessing most kids start school today? At least that's the vibe I got from my facebook feed this morning!) And these bags look useful for car trips for me!

What do you think of the Lunchskins bags? Have you tried them before?

Has anyone tried to pack a sandwich in the large one? It has no 3rd dimension and seems like it would squash it. I like the idea, just wish it were wider.

I don’t mind having received these, Just wish I had gotten the pretty ones instead the plain dull green colors. It would have encouraged me to pack lunch for work today.

I had these and all they did was let my food get stale.

I’m happy with this item. Don’t know if I would have bought on my own, but happy to try them out!

I was irritated to receive these and cancelled immediately.
Right on the FAQS it says they won’t send items aimed at kids. I have no children in my household and no one packs a lunch, so these bags are of no use to me.

They’re not just for kids… anyone can use them for lunch or snacks. Even if you don’t pack lunches ever, you can use them for snacks or like Liz said, for car trips.
You could probably even use them for other things around the house or travel, anything you’d normally use ziploc baggies for, as long as you don’t need an airtight seal.

I think the FAQ can be interpreted differently since it states they will not send products geared only toward families with young children. I take that to mean no baby wipes, teething rings, blocks, etc that only families with little ones can use. My kids take their lunch to school most days and they’re in high school. I also know many people who take their lunch to work. I live very close to my office and go home for lunch otherwise I’d pack my own as well. My husband will be the primary beneficiary of these bags since he travels daily. I’d much rather he take something decent from home than skip lunch or eat a candy bar. Plus they’re manly enough that he just might use them more than once, unlike the many lunch and bento boxes I’ve tried to get him to use in the past.

I have no kids and don’t back a lunch but I have these bags and find them handy. I have a dog and find them handy to use for something easy to carry treats and kibble in instead of a plastic bag. They are good for travel too for whatever you throw in your weekend bag or suitcase.

I’m looking forward to using these for my son’s lunch (maybe not the flowered one though). I also got one in the Bag & Wander box this month.
Absolutely love that they’re dishwasher safe!

Great box, I just ordered some of those the other day and paid more than $10.
