Ipsy August 2015 Spoilers Round #2!

I was considering cancelling Ipsy after this month, but they went and gave me a great bag. I’m pleased.. getting the Tarte gloss, Marc Anthony Argan oil, Starlooks eyeliner, Juara turmeric mask and the ofra wine lip liner.

Oh Ipsy, you are killing me! I had every intention of cancelling after this month…and then they go and give me an amazing August bag! I can’t cancel now!!! Needless to say but I am so excited now 🙂

One thing I don’t like about ipsy is if seems like they send the colors the manufacturer can’t sell. Odd shades of pink, purple, blue.

Houndstooth is one of my very favorite patterns, so I’m so excited about this bag. The only problem is that someone stole my bank card info, and bought a ticket to Sydney Australia and put us in the hole to the tune of about $350. We are currently waiting on new cards AND for the bank to fix the issue so we have our money back. ALL my subs are in jeopardy right now due to this. :'( :'( Keeping my fingers crossed that everything gets fixed in the next day or so…..

I feel like ipsy is just starting to have a stash of items and throwing them wherever. I’ve only been with ipsy since April 2015. And last month I got the hd powder shown here, and some other months I got a couple of the other items pictured. I loved ipsy when I first started getting my bags. But this summer has started lacking. This is my last month of giving them a try. Recently signed up for boxycharm, got one box so far and LOVED everything. And the sneak peaks for August’s box look amazing too. I say if your not feeling ipsy, spend the extra $ for boxycharm.

I almost got drawn back in this month with the first spoiler. I would like every product but the Hikari one. I have multiple Hikari products because of Ipsy and havent liked any of them. I know I would get the Hikari one! Ipsy started failing me after a year of great bags. I always go in and look at what I would have gotten and last month was the first one I would have liked. Sooooo tempted!

Hi, Is it just me or do these samples like a little familiar ?? They look like the samples from last month ?? No

Oh please, please anything but Lord & Berry eyeliner. I still have the tiny golf pencil stub from last time around. The formula is awful and the sample size is too small to even really use. It felt like trying to write on my eyelids with an ink pen. The CoverFX primer is making the beauty sub box rounds so I’m guessing that’s what is pictured; I’ve gotten it twice already and it’s nothing special IMO. Ditto for the Too Faced primer, nice but nothing I’m excited to get again. I’m hoping for the HD setting powder or one of the lip liners (preferably the darker shade since I’m all pinked/nuded out).

Ipsy have confirmed that the glasses and tie are just for staged purposes, only the bag and makeup etc will be included. I think so Susan add earrings or something along those lines as a bonus (5th item). I was so excited to see a cute looking hairbrush as a points item with ipsy recently

I do love that City Color HD powder. I wear that everyday since I got it in some beauty box. It really helps with oily or combination skin. I would probably like any of those products but the problem with Ipsy is they send really unwearable lip and eye colors. Rarely do I get something normal for lips or eyes. I love BellaPierre lip balm but their lipsticks are super dark and goth looking or the ones I’ve been getting in subscription boxes anyway. Same with Hikari brand. The formula is awesome but the colors in subscription boxes are unwearable.

Wait are we getting the glasses?!? I’d rather have those please. What an awsm bonus that would be. Just being like “Oh? Glasses you say? HERE YOU GO LADIES.” #SubBoxDreams

I’m so on the fence with Ipsy. It seems like lately I’ve been getting items I will never use like a bright blue eyeliner. Last month I only used one of my items, the bronzer. Each time I go to cancel I stop myself but I think if this month is a dud I will have to cancel. I feel like my Birchboxes are more inline with my beauty profile than Ipsy 🙁 Which stinks because I do love the make up bags Ipsy gives out each month.

I want the glasses!!

Underwhelmed by ipsy lately.. but, we’re all different– seems like so many people love getting lip products, and I hate them all. But, for $10, I’ll keep taking my chances to see if I get products I like– that’s what the swap site is for!

Please, please, please, please let me get a lipgloss Ipsy. I’m a lipgloss junkie and almost never get them in my Ipsy bag. I get nail polish or eye liners all the time. Which I hate getting and don’t have marked on my quiz.

I would LOVE the Hikari Lip Gloss, Luxe Doubler (since eyeliner is one of the eye items I CAN wear) or the Absolute. Everything sounds great though.

… I’d like the glasses please.

Caught the ding from Ipsy on my credit card a couple days ago. This will be my first Ipsy box, so I’m excited. Can’t wait for it to arrive!
