Five Four Club is a monthly men’s clothing subscription service. You take a brief survey when you sign up (sizes and style preferences), and then each month they send you on average 2-3 new clothing pieces or accessories. For reference, my husband’s style profile is “T-Shirt and jeans.”
My husband has been subscribing for over a year now and in general, is very happy with the quality of the clothing and the value. (We’ve found the sizing to be similar to American Eagle’s sizing if that helps!)
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Laguardia Button Down Shirt - Retail Value $68
This month Five Four partnered with designer Mark McNairy to create an exclusive line for Five Four Club subscribers. (Both of these pieces are from that line).
This shirt is a fun mix of formal wear with some more casual touches - the cuffs are similar to a sweatshirt cuff, and the shirt has front pockets as well. I think my husband Eric will like this - neither of us like getting too formally dressed!
Hester Shorts - Retail Value $60
This is the first time I've seen camo with polka dots! It's a well-made piece, but I'm guessing it will be a little too daring for Eric's tastes. I like the built in belt and zipper pocket details, though.
Oh, and the lining is pretty awesome too:
Verdict: This box has a retail value of about $128. The quality of the clothing is great considering they only cost us $30 a piece, but the shorts are a miss for us this month.
What do you think of the August Five Four Club collection? Did you get any polka dot pieces in your shipment?
