FYI – A common question I get on these reviews is how durable these cases are. I have personally dropped my phone in these cases and they’ve been fine, but it is not the same protection as say an Otter Box. So if you need a lot of protection for your phone I wouldn’t recommend this subscription, but if you are looking for a sturdy basic phone case, Phone Case of the Month definitely holds up.

More from Phone Case of the Month on the materials of the case: “We ship cases made of Poly Carbonate and ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) with a silicone coating for a soft to the touch feel. Printing is done using a water transfer printing technology for a seamless edge to edge print. The cases are low profile and do not have a lip on the top edge of the phone.”

I only got one case from PCoTM before I cancelled but it did end up snapping at the bottom. They’re nice cases but the one I got was thin so I don’t think they’re very durable, definitely not an Otterbox like you said in your review.

I love this sub. I gave it up because I do drop my phone – A LOT. But I really wish I could go with a low profile case. I like the way these cases feel, and I like changing it up every month.

I did it for 6 months on my iPhone 5, and only one of the designs I hated.

Dropped my iPhone in one of these. It did nothing to protect the phone even the slightest bit. Top is completely bare so it got pretty chipped and the screen broke all the way down to the home button.

Cute cases but zero protection. Save yourself the $100 repair job for a case that isn’t even worth the $10 they charge you. Honestly, they could at least add top and bottom sides to the iPhone 6 case.

If they ever start making cases that provide even the tiniest amount of protection for the screen, I will totally subscribe. Low profile is just too risky.

Just got my first phone case from them today. It was a tye-dye print. Not so impressed. I can do better at our store called Five-Below.
