BuddhiBox recently started a quarterly jewelry box subscription in addition to their regular yoga-lifestyle subscription. I have been a subscriber to BuddhiBox for several months now, and I've always really liked their jewelry selections!
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription: BuddhiBox Jewelry
The Cost: $49.95 per quarter with free shipping
The Products: 2-3 jewelry pieces from a different designer each quarter intended to help you with your practice of yoga / mindfulness
Ships To: US and Canada
Good to Know: Boxes ship the 10th of February, May, August, and November, but whenever you sign up you will likely receive the current box even if it past the shipment date. This review is of the box they sent on May 10, which I just received when I signed up in July!
The box came with a couple of little bonuses. The first were these two mini chocolate bars from Chuao. Spicy chocolate is my favorite! These were completely liquified by the summer heat by the time they got to me, but they didn't leak at all. A few minutes in the fridge fixed them right up!
House of Good Juju Aura Cleansing Soy Candles - Value $3?
This is the second bonus items that was included, an aura cleansing candle from House of Good Juju. I was glad to see this in the box - I bet my aura is filthy! Hmm, does dirt exist on the astral plane? Anyway, I couldn't find these little candles on HoGJJ's etsy site, so I am estimating on the value. It smells so wonderful! Lots of real lavender fragrance.
All this month's jewelry comes from designer Indo Love from Southern California.
Tigerskin Jasper Mala with Turquiose - Value $52
My breath kind of flew right out of my body when I saw this beautiful piece! I hope you can see the delicate marbling on the beads; it's just exquisite. This is a mala, which can be worn a variety of ways as it's on a stretchy cord. The important thing is that they are to be used in meditation to count the number of times you repeat your mantra, or the number of breaths you take, etc. I love this. All of Indo Love's malas have 108 beads, and this stone combination is for grounding and ego-releasing.
Amazonite Jasper Bracelet - Value $24
This bracelet is also quite beautiful, and I was surprised to learn that the stones are not turquoise but jasper! Indo Love creates a variety of 7" stretchy gemstone bracelets like this one from stones with various healing properties. This combination of stones is all about self-expression and the throat chakra. This is another gorgeous win for me!
Next quarter (next month), the designer will be Jesse & Co. I am already loving those mixed stone bracelets!
The Verdict: I was really impressed with my first BuddhiBox Jewelry shipment. I love the pieces that were sent to me! The value, not including the bonuses, came to $76, which is quite a bargain off their retail prices. I have really been getting into Earth Bling lately, so this subscription is perfect for me, and I hope it will enhance my yoga and meditation practices accordingly!
