But instead of the Brighten Eye Primer and the 5-in-1 Cream Eyeshadow, both which I would loved to have received, I got a small pot of loose shadow in Mocha Supreme and a Feather Light Brush. The color of the loose shadow is very pretty and neutral. The brush is a duo fiber brush that’s soft and nice. But, 3 brushes?!? Come on! Maybe 3 different types of brushes might be ok but these pretty much are the same size and redundant. I am done with their mystery boxes. They used to be fantastic.

I got everything on your list except I got the Nightfall eyeshadow (perfect color for me) instead of your second brush. I love it all except the 5-in-1 shadow which I’ve had before and didn’t like. And the eye primer is tiny! But the mineral veil and foundation primer are awesome. I was hoping for a ready shadow palette too, but it was cheaper this time around so I’m very happy.

I got three brushes.
1. The face brush listed
2. The moisturizing brush instead of the powder eye shadow (annoyed about this substitution.)
3. A light application face brush instead of the eye primer (happy about this substitution.)
I’ve been wanting to increase my brush collection, and I like BareMinerals brushes, so I’m mostly happy. More variety in the brushes would be nice, though.
I love the 5-in-1 shadow as a primer. I wear it most days. I already have two tubes of it, so I’m not too excited. I suppose I will get to it eventually. I also wish that the summer bisque container had been larger.

I was not necessarily underwhelmed but not wowed, either. I know this is different from the $55/$45 Mystery Box they used to offer. Like someone posted on reddit, I am not particularly thrilled by the black cosmetic bag. Maybe I could use it if I get Bedazzler and glum it up??? (haha) Item-wise, I got all the items on the shipping list. Money’s worth? Probably. You’ve got three brushes??? You are right to be upset/sad. More than likely, this is going to be my first and last Bareminerals Mystery Box.

Yes, I was a bit underwhelmed by the box. I was hoping that I would get smaller versions of some of their new line so I could try them out before buying full size. But over half of my box was discontinued items that they are just trying to get rid of. Which is fine, but maybe they should state that. Discontinued Clearance Mystery Box! People would still purchase. And my other annoyance is getting brushes that are made for specific things, like the hydrating one, then not receiving the hydrating mineral veil to try it with. Lesson learned. I will just go to Sephora to try new stuff.

Just got mine in (why does shipping take forever?) and I am in loooove. The brushes alone make the value worth it because their brushes are absolutely fab. I was also running out of mineral veil, so that was perfect timing, I love the neutral lip gloss, all the colors are perfect me, and the small items came just in time for my upcoming vacation! This could not be a better buy for me.

Annoyed- USPS rang my doorbell this morning and I buzzed them into my apartment building (I could see it was them through the camera), but they never came up to my apartment. Went down and checked my mail later and there was one of those ‘sorry we missed you’ cards for my bare escentuals box saying I can pick it up Monday morning.. I KNEW they weren’t even trying to deliver my packages! Now I have to wait until Monday:(

Ok- picked it up- only had time to take a quick peek, but I love it! A few things I definitely will swap (lip gloss and foundation primer), but I got my money’s worth. Worth noting that they never asked for my skin color, but I am light/medium and so far, the skintone specific items in the box this time and last time work for me.

I got my order today and I am so pleased! The brush by itself makes of for the value of the mystery bag so the other 10 items and 2 extra deluxe sample are just extras! So awesome! I’m a Jane Iredale user but I’m excited to use the items in my bag! By the way the bag itself is great for travel!

What is the swap site? I got my shipment email yesterday, so I was googling the stuff and came across the post. Unfortunately, my box isn’t scheduled to come until Wednesday, and my wedding is the 8th. I wouldn’t be able to get it before, but I would highly consider after…if you happen to still have it. I love the vibrance of the BM eye colors.

I’m so excited about this mystery box! I wondered about that code too. I think it is medium-sized mineral veil powder broad spectrum, click, lock, go container. Not sure what the free means. My box is set to arrive Friday!

This sounds fabulous, super excited! The neutralizing primer is great, I got it in another box and it lasted me a year. The colors of the products also seem to be a good mix for most people. Yay!

I got one of these last year and felt like I’d made a poor decision when I saw the products I’d gotten, but thinking about it today, I realized it was worth it. The eyelid primer is the best I’ve used and I use the blush every day (super awesome work shade), plus the bronzer and little eyeshadow and foundation samplers are useful on occasion. And the lipstick is pretty nice, as well. There were some shipping issues and I had to call bc the blush wasn’t in my box, but on the whole, I’m happy enough with it that I went ahead and got another one today.

Very upset. Their system said my order did not go through, so I made a second attempt to order, which also claimed to have not gone through. Now, I get emails for both orders. Their customer service can’t see the orders yet and can do nothing. I was told I have to return one of the boxes when it arrives. Seriously. I’m calling back in the morning when their full customer service staff is on duty, which they are not today.
Also, the mini mascara that is supposed to be on every $25 order did not apply to mine. Either of them.

To put this in context, my last order from BE had 2 out of 3 items I purchased canceled from my order for being out of stock. I already had a bit of a bad taste, which led to why this is extra frustrating.

They must be really close to selling out. First try, I had it in my cart and it said to remove it because it was no longer available. Then I hit the back button, tried again, and my order went through. Kind of excited, first time getting one of these.

If you call their customer service and tell them about the mascara sample, they should offer you another sample ! They did for me, and they were friendly about it.

I just ordered it, I like their products and they’re not cheap so I’m excited to see what it’s in this. Also in addition to the items in the mystery box they are including a deluxe size sample mascara and another sample pod, I don’t remeber what it was some kind of face cream I think. So I think it will be a good value.
