Got my ‘male’ box today. (Not sure why the ‘female’ box is taking longer when I ordered it first, but….

Very happy with the box. I was apparently one of the first to buy as I did get the little Amy’s thermos in my box. Since I had to do separate orders for the male and female boxes, I wonder if I’ll get one in my next box which should arrive tomorrow.

If anyone is interested, this box is sent via FedEx home delivery from Sausalito, CA. The tracking was spotty and it took about a week to get across the country to me.

Does anyone know how to track your order on this site? My order confirmation gave no information and I can’t find a way on their site to do that. Also for those who previously purchased: how do they ship? Thanks!

Marie

hi! I order from them before; it ship super fast and they will send you an email confirmation with tracking.

Also look at previous collections still available for sale.. They are $50 instead of $75!! I think collections babes are Mother’s Day and mind and body

Cindy

How do we order the other collections? I could not see how to get anything but the newest two into the cart.

Ks

You know…if they said the box costs $85 instead, all of you would’ve signed up right away. Every other box you get charges you for shipping by combining it into overall cost. Also, I don’t get how paying $100 for trinkets you can get on clearance at TJMaxx in those ‘prestige’ boxes is acceptable but paying 80 bucks for a bunch of organic goods is not 0_o

FYI: they still have the mother day and mind and body collections. It states $75 plus shipping but they are still on sale from their Memorial Day sale, so it is $70 counting the shipping ( the boxes went on sale for $50)..

Cindy

How do you get those into your cart? Everytime I try, the new box goes into my cart…. Thanks!

Cindy

Thanks for noting that. I wish I’d known that as I think I looked at that one longingly before buying the mens…..

Rachel

You’re right that their shipping cost would have been perceived differently if they included it in the total price. But then they would have had to give that amount to charity, instead of using it for shipping. They shouldn’t have to pay $20 in shipping using business prices, but that’s not super above actual shipping either, so they might be including packaging?

If I wasn’t moving I would have considered this box. The litmus test for me is Ouiplease, since Ouiplease costs the same to me with an annual subscription. And Ouiplease isn’t a trinkets from to max box. But I also don’t get the $100 quarterly, pop sugar etc. boxes. I think I’d use more Ouiplease products than this box though.

It seems like the subscribers to MSA are pretty evenly split between seeking natural and seeking fancy brands, so those who seek fancy brands are going to see these products having less value, never though they cost a lot at Whole foods, since they prefer brand names. I’d use about half the items,

Exactly what I was stating earlier in this post!! Love their boxes, the quality is obviously there, and the last boxes I got were like over 10-12 lbs if I recall correctly.. Aubrey and Acure are amazing brands, and everything they sent me was just amazingly curated. Don’t know about finding that in any discount grocery stores, other than Annie brand, but to each its own.. Only reason I’m not jumping on one of these boxes is I’m overstocked with the last two I got less than a month ago ( Memorial Day sale).. Maybe look if any of these collections are still available at discounted price!

They would be able to have more reasonable shipping if they didn’t include large and/or heavy food items that can be bought for a couple of dollars at your local discount supermarket.

Joanne

I bought it recently and loved them. They are totally worth it.

I shipped a box that weigh about 7.5 lbs USPS Ground (not sure of the correct name ) from PA to the Rockies region of the USA. It cost me almost $20.00. I can believe that shipping is that much. It would had been $30.00 for USPS 2-day.

I think ya’ll have convinced me. Plus I do love me some Dr. Bronner’s and Annie’s!

I decided to get the women’s box as I know I can set aside a few things to make a basket for Christmas for a friend who likes organic products. Still undecided about the men’s even though there are more men than women in this family…..

Cindy

I caved and got the men’s box too. I hope I am one of the first 20 and get the thermos…..

I’ve gotten these boxes before and they really are great. If you swap, consider how much you pay for shipping on items, and you will see that $20 for what you get is really not bad at all. I am spoiled by Amazon and their free shipping, but most companies can’t come close to the volume that would allow that. $85 for what you get is still a great value if you will use the products.

Reply ButtonReply

Cindy

Can you tell us what shipper they use and how long it usually takes? For $20 I am hoping it’s not dhl or some other shipper that goes all around the country before delivery! Thanks!

Tammy

FedEx when I ordered. I haven’t bought the last few boxes since I am overstocked, though, so I can’t swear they haven’t changed it.

Lynne

These boxes are well worth the $20 shipping charge! The women’s box value it $217.12. The men’s box value is $200.50. A tremendous value for both boxes. I ordered both and I’m excited to receive them.

I think that i’ve ordered at least six past boxes and I’ve been pleased with almost everything. The only product I can remember that I didn’t really like was the Acure body wash, it doesn’t suds up but still gets you clean.

All in all, $85 (no tax in my state) for over $200 worth of full sized eco/organic products is pretty amazing. Also saves me the trouble of going out to the store and buying them too.

To those complaining about shipping, keep in mind that 100% of all proceeds go to a great cause. You can read more about it on their website. And these boxes are HEAVY! 20 full-size items, many large bottles of lotion, shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. and it adds up. They always ship quickly. $20 is pretty normal, possibly even a few bucks less than what it costs them. They are nonprofit, they do not make money on these boxes.
Also, these cannot compare at all to the Allure or other boxes because all items are organic and/or natural skin care and food companies. Natural items are more expensive. Check out the skin care section at Whole Foods. All of these items can be purchased at Whole Foods and will cost you much more than the price of this box, and all are great everyday items. I buy one of these every so often to stock up on basics since I shifted to all natural products.

Ava

Hi,
I get these instead of the allure boxes. We’re very ingredient concious and this is perfect for restocking staples. The boxes are huge and super heavy. $20 may seem like a lot but I just bought a PSLE summer box off someone and was charged $27. And that box is a little smaller then these boxes are. Anyways it’s for a good cause.

Rachel

It seems very unlikely, even if things are full size, that shipping will cost them anywhere close to $20. Perhaps if you want the box but not the expensive shipping you could asked them about less expensive shipping options?

I think this would be a lot of fun to get. Opening a box with 21 full size items will always be fun, but this one also has the instant use factor. There is easy tasty food, and a bunch of the type of bathroom stuff you just throw in the shower and use.

Cindy

This puts me in mind of the Allure seasonal boxes–only more costly and with higher shipping. I was tempted—-until I saw the shipping and that killed the deal for me!

Marie

I loooooove their boxes, and got two when they went on sale s couple months back. Although the shipping seams steep, it is so worth it!! The box is huge and they ship amazingly fast! To me, I just put it in perspective of $85 a box, for all full size organic items.. Much better than the countless $100 boxes that have just been horrible in recent months!

Reply ButtonReply

Sandra

I was going to get this but shipping is really high at $20.

Reply ButtonReply

Ann

Ouch, that’s a huge shipping cost! It seems like some of the products are pretty large so maybe the box is pretty big?

Reply ButtonReply

Sandra

Yea everything seems like it is full-sized.

$20 shipping? Really?
