The box comes with a card detailing all the items included with retail values. The theme this month is “A Seaside Excursion."
The Blue Octopus Beach Fire Candle - Value $8
This candle doesn't smell like a beach fire to me (but then again I've yet to find a "fire" scented candle that it what I'm hoping for). It's a clean, sweet scent though - I like it!
Meraki Botanicals Bergamot Neroli Body Scrub - Value $20
This scrub is made with organic ingredients, and it has a nice, natural scent (not too citrusy though, despite the ingredients).
Oak Street Soap Plumeria Bubble Bar - Value $5.50
I could smell this soap before I even opened the box - it is STRONGLY scented. I'll probably pass this one along to a friend since the fragrance is just a little too heavy for me.
Salt Works Wild Fire Salt Blend - Value $10
This salt blend is a mix of salt with garlic and rosemary, all smoked over Pecan wood. It almost smells like BBQ to me!
Being Apothecary Still Salt Bath - Value $18
This might be my favorite discovery in the box. I love the packaging, and the ingredients - Himalayan Sea salt, Dead Sea salt, and essential oils of Ylang Ylang and Geranium. (Now I want to try their other bath salt blends).
Seagrape Bath and Body Salt Kissed Hair Mist - Value $15
This hair mist is scented with lavender - so I bet you could use it as a room spray if you aren't looking for a sea salt spray!
Verdict: This box has a value of about $76.50. I'll use everything besides the soap, so I'm happy with that value. I also think that Prospurly does a great job of discovering new-to-me beauty and spa brands. This box is a little beauty heavy, so I hope to see a little more of a mix in categories for the next box.
