julep-june-2015-

Julep Maven is a monthly nail polish and beauty subscription box. They make all their own products, so subscribers get a good value each month – over $40 retail worth of product for $24.99 a month.

And, if you sign up for 3-months up front, you get the $19.99 rate.

Each month Julep releases a new collection on the 20th, and you can decide which box you want, you can upgrade to the entire collection, or you can skip that month.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Julep Nail Color in Tiffany - Retail Value $14

Julep Nail Color in Suse - Retail Value $14

Can you tell I was in a summer brights mood when I picked out my colors this month? I liked the swatch Julep posted of the Jelly formula:

I'm excited to try it!

Julep Luxe on Your Lips Tinted Conditioning Lip Treatment in Blushing Rose - Retail Value $24

I love the applicator tip of this lip gloss:

The formula isn't sticky at all, and it gives a good amount of shine and color. Here is a swatch:

And the bonus item this month is two Chupa Chup lollipops! (Julep also included a coupon for 30% off your next Julep.com order - use code GOWILD - expires July 20th).

Verdict: I'm always pretty happy with my Julep Maven boxes. I picked out the nail polish colors, so I knew I'd like those - and I'm happy with the lip treatment formula, so this box is a success!

What do you think of the Julep Maven June Box? Which items did you pick this month?

I just received my first Julep box today and am thrilled! I got three polishes in Fiora, Vicki, Shelly and gloss in Graceful. Absolutely love the quality and colors. Got a coupon for a free polish in my July box and a 50% off next purchase code. Great deal for only paying for postage on 1st box. Can’t wait to get July.

Hi! I’ve just ordered the Julep free box and I’m so excited! Thank you! But if I won’t like it I won’t have to subscribe for a year, right?

Nope – you can cancel whenever you like. I believe you have to call in to cancel though.

I just subscribed to get the free box (red carpet welcome box) only paying shipping. I added a color on as well, shanae. Can’t wait to get it. I also subscribed to another welcome box that was different (4 plush crayons and two mail colors I love because I couldn’t take it not to lol…I just used a different computer and email. Please don’t judge me! Anyone tell me how this sub box works once subscribed though? I’m really confused.

I am not a Maven, but I made my first purchase of Julep from their recent clearance. I love these polishes. I’ve used navy, gray, and emerald green so far. All three went on very easily with excellent pigmentation. The green required just one coat. The finish is amazing. I’m getting three days out of a manicure, which is standard for me.

I was hoping they’d throw in a fourth of july themed nail polish like they did with Hartleigh for February 🙁 I still love Julep but a while back I saw the cutest red white and blue star glitter nail polish listed as “Out of stock” and I was hoping it was going to be a secret add on for everyone. I hope they bring that nail polish back — I’d buy it in a heartbeat

Plus we got a free nail color w/ included link in our welcome box!! 😀
So far I am loving Julep! 😀
Oh and we got 2 colors w/ 10 off 20 code(now expired) along w/ a five nail polish mystery box(end of season) and we love the colors!

I got the lipgloss in Candy Apple, a bright red and thought it would be so pretty. But putting its like putting water on your lips, almost no color, doesn’t stick to your lips and doesn’t last a really long. This was my last month with Julep for a while, I have a ton of nail polish to use up.

That’s sad to hear, I was planning on buying that exact lip gloss
