Did anyone else get the wrong tone color box? I specifically changed my box in my preferences from cool to warm after the quiz very wrongly stated I was cool… but for some reason, it reverted. So now I’ve got a cool box when I really wanted the warm. ): Pale pink lips just don’t work for me.
Any chance anyone out there got the wrong box as well and would like to trade? I’ve got the entire cool box listed in the swaps section.

i just received my box, it’s not nearly as nice as the first one. I sent them an email to make sure i received everything i should have.

Got my box today and am happy with it. Not thrilled, but overall feel it’s a pretty decent summer makeup box and the value is there. Not as great as the spring box, but it still includes great products! I won’t give away any spoilers so I’ll only comment on the lip sheer. I received the warm box, which included a light coral color. It’s similar to Bite Beauty’s BB for lips in flush. I love the consistency of the lip sheer, but the color is very sheer. I’ll probably use this as my go to lip balm this summer.
I like that Jouer sticks to natural shades that can be worn by the majority of women. So many beauty boxes include crazy shades, which can be fun but aren’t that practical for a lot of women.

I agree regarding the products, but strongly disagree regarding the value! With an expected value of $150, $100 (33% less than anticipated) is completely unacceptable IMHO. I called yesterday and am still waiting for a response.

If you haven’t ordered this I would recommend taking a look at reviews online first. The value of the box is $111 (including the sample), not over $150 that they claimed. The box included an purple eyeshadow, a bronzer, a brown mascara, a pink lip sheer, and a sample of cheek/lip tint.

I got a call back from customer service about the value and the website states “up to $150” but the mobile site does not have this disclaimer. It’s clear they’re getting a lot of feedback about some of the problems from shipping and tracking to value and I feel for the stress those customer service reps are likely going through today. Please be nice. They are taking returns as a result but were kind enough to offer to send a tinted moisturizer to make up the additional value. I hope they get this a little more together next time around.

I just got this box today and I like half the things included. However when I added it all up, it definitely fell short of the $150 value mark. All the items that were full size added up to $100. If you add in their sample – maybe $10 more. I’m not too sure how I feel about the value – but if you want to try the line for a little more than half off, grab the box?

I went to go cancel because of low funds right now but I saw they actually had the option to just skip this box or cancel entirely and I decided to just skip for now.

Go to you My Jouer page (if you don’t know where that is, it is in the top right hand corner of the page or when you first log in it will redirect you to the page). On the left hand side of the page will have the options for managing your subscription, click on Cancel Subscription and you will be given the option to either skip the upcoming box or cancel entirely and then just click update and your done. 🙂

Man, times flies… it seems like just a week ago I got the Spring box! I ended up cancelling my subscription to Jouer because the only product I used last time was the face oil. And even though that was valued at slightly more than the price of the box, I never would’ve paid $48 for it to begin with. All the products were quality items, but in a moment of lucidity (ha!) I realized I already have more beauty products than I’ll ever be able to use. I still get my other 8 sub boxes though because those moments of lucidity are rare. 😀

This is pretty much what I was going to say! I only used one thing in the box (eye shadow crayon) last time. It’s definitely worth the money and is a great value but didn’t really suit me. I look forward to seeing the review of the Summer box though.

I saw the charge in my cc account yesterday. Have not received an email or a tracking number. It also hasn’t shown up in my FedEx account yet. (Last box was shipped FedEx Home Delivery.)

My charge posted yesterday for the Summer box. You can log into your account at Jouer and check under ‘Order History’. The Spring box was fantastic and I especially like that we can choose cool or warm tones. Looking forward to this next one!
