I just got the Quarterly discovery box and all it is is leftovers from prior boxes. It was supposed to be either coffee, tea or cocktails and I got cocktails which included party forks, Sphere ice molds and bitters. All will be going up for swap.
Also, Arianna Huffington has indicated that the ARI#04 box is her last .

Sorry to hear the box failed. I almost purchased one myself but now I know to stay away from future Quarterly discovery boxes.

Oh no on Arianna Huffington. I enjoyed the boxes that I received!!!
The Jeremy Lin box is to arrive tomorrow. Liz – Are you or your reviewers going to review the box?
AnnaD
I received tracking for the Ariana Huffington box today! Due to arrive (in Nevada) on Friday.

I cancelled Arianna Huffington again Sun night. I’ll wait to see the box and then decide.

I’m worried about the value of the Thrive Membership. I re-subscribed for it, but I may still try to cancel. When you search for reviews, all you get are blogs with affiliate links promoting it under the guize of a review. Then the comments are all FULL of people complaining that they are being charged after cancelling etc. And that the reason for cancelling is that the prices aren’t competitive enough to warrant an extra fee and shipping is very slow (esp if you are used to Prime). I would really like to hear from someone who has used it.

I’ve only used Thrive during the free trial and like it. The prices are always less than at Whole Foods and often for Amazon (for what I tend to get). The shipping is slower than Amazon Prime but some of what I order isn’t available for Prime. I also don’t mind the shipping speed because I plan what I need for a month and get my non-perishables well in advance of when I run out.

I’ve been a Thrive member for a couple of months. I’ve been happy so far. The prices on some things are amazing and others are not great but still better than Whole Foods. As for shipping, I placed an order Saturday night and it shipped via FedEx today. I can’t say anything about how easy cancellation is because I haven’t tried to do it, but I can’t imagine it would pose much of a problem for anyone with a lifetime membership. 🙂

Thanks this helps! I’ve been hesitant on subscribing and I’m too impatient for slow shipping when I have a Whole Foods nearby

I subbed for the Thrive Membership. I’m excited about all three items. The Membership sent me over the edge though!

Quarterly just confirmed via email that DesignSponge will go out the week of May 18.

Had initially signed up for DesignSponge because I like the theme (“color”), and like DesignSponge’s taste. However, while none of the spoilers are bad, none has wowed me or seemed particularly useful.

The Thrive membership is another thing which is useless overseas.
Maybe Quarterly should consider to stop mailing to Europe.

I thought about the Arianna Huffington one for a moment. But I just checked the address of the new house I’ll be moving into in July and it is 6 minutes from the nearest Whole Foods…

I was interested already because of the Rest Well Spoiler but I signed up because of the LIFETIME Thrive Market membership. I live about an hour away from any Whole Foods, Sprouts, etc. so I’m really excited about this spoiler and signed up immediately!

I resubscribed to Arianna Huffington and now have to pay shipping. Oh well. I hope I can use anything else she sends since I can’t use the first 2 spoilers.
I also updated my card because I think Jeremy Lin will bill today. I’m debating whether to order another Eva Scrivo box #2. I already used up almost all my items from when I first received it. I’m still passing on Design Sponge mainly because the spoilers are not of interest to me. I loved the first DS box.

Jeremy Lin billed today. I purchased this mainly for my 16 year old son.

I signed up right before the deadline for free shipping just in case there was something in this box that I really wanted and now I’m glad I did. Right now I live in an area where I can get to places that sell organic food but that won’t always be the case so I can see this being very useful.
I’m surprised it’s a lifetime subscription – just a year would have been pretty nice compared to all the one-month subscriptions we’ve been getting in other boxes. Now I’m really curious to see what else is in the box!

I just signed up. Thrive membership sold me too. I have never heard of it until now but I will be using it a lot. Great products and prices!

The thrive membership sold me. I’ve been eyeing thrive but couldn’t pull the trigger on paying $60 a year for it, especially because I have amazon prime and costco. That, plus the other two spoilers make me feel great about this box!

Snagged it – I’m on the same boat, the Thrive lifetime membership got me hooked

Count me as another one who is interested in the Thrive membership. I can’t recall the other 2 spoilers. Wasn’t one custom- made mala beads?

the other spoiler I have seen is the rest well sleep drink . I would be interested to know if anyone else has had expense with Thrive market.

That’s right! I totally forgot about it. I did run Thrive Market through my email because I remember reading about it earlier today. It was a blogger working with them in a partnership. They also donated memberships to Weston Price last year.

Just wondering if there are any current members of Thrive Market and how they feel about it? I think the lifetime membership makes this box valuable if the prices on there are really reasonable, since it is $59.95 a year for a membership. I received her last box and then cancelled because even though I love the jawbone and the video, the other items seemed silly to me.

I would dearly love a lifetime subscription to Thrive market. Would it be nuts to sign up for the box just based on that?
And am I in time to get this particular box?

Liz Cadman
Yes – you can still sign up for the upcoming Arianna box.
