Zabana Essentials Shimmery Dry Glow Shampoo - FULL SIZE! Value $9.95

nyl Organic Shimmer Scrub - 2 oz Value $11

I was surprised to see both of these products have added shimmer! The dry shampoo has a beachy/suntan lotion scent to it (which I love). The shimmer from the powder isn't too sparkly, but I could notice it when I looked closely.

The body scrub has an amazing blood orange scent, and I like the effect of the added shimmer. It adds a subtle sparkle to my skin after washing and toweling off - the only thing to keep in mind is that the palms of your hands will also be super shimmery!

Lippy Girl Vegocentric Organic Lipstick in Schmoopy - FULL SIZE! Value $23

This lipstick wasn't nearly as pigmented as I was expecting, so I'd consider it more of a sheer lip tint than a lipstick. (The swatch below took several swipes to show some color). I like it as a tinted lip balm though - so I'm happy!

MUN No. 11 Anarose Toner Sample - Value $2

Since there are two full size and one deluxe size item in this box, I'm ok with this sample packet. I'll probably save it for travel.

Verdict: I really like the Petit Vour box this month! I think my favorite discovery is the nyx Shimmer Scrub - I think I'll buy the full-size version when it is released in their shop. The value of this box is about $46 - I think that's great for the $15 cost.

What do you think of the May 2015 Petit Vour box?

Not my favorite PV box either, but they are usually good with value and Finding new clean brands that I most often fall in love with so I will stick with them.

Got the lippy in P-bomb.. Not a nice color; it’s like the cheap pink from the eighties.. And looks bluish pink on lips.. Nah.. Love the other products, and love PV but all make up/nail colors I received have been either horrible or not working for me.. Taking a break from PV and Klover.. Love them all but I’m in product overload, considering I bought 2 conscious boxes over memorial weekend ( couldn’t pass such great deal), and can’t wait for the Klover/MSA beach house box!!! I want it like yesterday..:))

True confession– that body scrub smelled so good when I opened it that I just had to taste it! It tasted good, but made my tongue tingle, so I probably should not do that, lol. I got a dark lipstick, which I thought I would have to save until Fall, but when I tried it, it turned out to be a nice neutral color that would be perfect for a clean, natural summer look.

Dashy – My sister teases me not to eat my cosmetics/skincare. My theory is that they should smell good enough to eat if I am going to put it on my body. I haven’t tried any yet although there have been a few tempting ones including a cocoa body butter that is hard to resist.

I have a Burt’s Bees orange facial cleanser that got in my mouth once accidentally. It actually tasted pretty good…

I got a nude shade of the lipstick, Surf Betty, which I was excited about until I tried it. In the tube it looks very Bridgette Bardot, but on my lips it does not show up at all and the formula is very drying. I haven’t decided whether I will try the scrub or dry shampoo. I’m not much of a shimmer girl and sometimes mica irritates my skin. I also have very dark brown hair and I’m not sure the dry shampoo will blend well. I may try adding organic cocoa powder (an ingredient in a DIY dry shampoo I use and it works great for brunettes) or I may end up gifting it and the shimmer scrub instead. The toner sounds nice and I will definitely try it, but the full size is so expensive. I love Petit Vour and all that the company stands for but I’ve decided to take a break from my sub for a few months. If they re-vamp with a more detailed personal profile for preferences and color choices I will sign back up.

I love Petit Vour. It was one of my first subscriptions, and is still one of the ones I most look forward to receiving each month. I’m looking forward to trying the scrub the most. This is the second 6-month subscription I gave my daughter for her 24th birthday.

I received a brick red lipstick and am very happy with the shade. I agree it isn’t the most heavily pigmented formula but it is definitely more opaque (in this shade anyway) than a tinted lip balm. I also love the dry shampoo. It’s nice to try a more natural alternative to my go-to lazy day hero – Oscar Blandi dry shampoo. I didn’t really notice any shimmer once I blended it in my hair and brushed it and I’m definitely ok with that. I also love the body scrub. Unlike the “shimmering bling” bath salts I got a while back from LLB, this actually did shimmer and leave a subtle trace after rinsing, to a very nice effect. With the full size products I was fine with the paper toner sample. I was able to get 3 uses from it incidentally so as long as you store it upright after opening it should last more than a single use. So for me this month was a big win, as my PV boxes almost always are (last month being my only “meh” box).

I got the lipstick in Ski Bunny (LOVE)! I do not like the scrub — it left my skin so greasy.

I was actually happily surprised to get a lipstick color that was dark instead of pale or nude, like I have received in other boxes. I enjoyed everything in the box this month.

My lipstick was a super-pale almost white-ish pink called Ski Bunny. Normally I love PV, but this was a big miss for me. It was hard, dry, and looked absolutely ghoulish when I finally got it to apply and did not feel good on my lips. In short, I hated it.

Scrubs are always a win for me though and the toner feels nice on the skin.

I like Petit Vour yet this box was I was not fond of. I’m not a shimmer person. I have not tried the toner. The lipstick I’d be more excited about if it was not may. Lipsticks seem to melt quickly in the summer months, I prefer lipgloss in the summer. Value wise it was a great box, just not great for me this month,

I’m excited to try all the products from this month, except the Lipstick. This color is too dark for me, and the smell reminds me of my grandmothers old lipsticks she has held onto for decades. I am looking forward to trying the dry shampoo and body scrub, the shimmer(s) will be nice for summer.
