Hi…I have been trying to contact you directly, but I get a blank tab.
The 2016 sub is open now (May 2nd 2016). I signed on again (stopped subscribing after being totally disappointed by the first year).
Are you going to risk the $$$ for this year’s sub?

I don’t see anyone commenting on this sub except me. I received my third box on Friday. Two lip products and both are of excellent quality I am happy to say. The downside is they’re both fairly bright red and though this works for me I imagine they’re not for everyone. I won’t be renewing this sub!

Today I came home to two packages which I thought were a second and third Allure boxes. Imagine my surprise when I discovered one to be this long awaited sub. SPOILER ALERT!!

It’s a palette!

I know this subscription should begin in August. Has anyone heard anything?

I subscribed two months ago, and have yet to receive a box. I’ve tried contacting the company, but so far no response. Hopefully, they’re just slow responders and this will be resolved. Nonetheless, after this experience and a different disappointment with French Box, I won’t be prepaying for niche subscription boxes again.

I also signed up months ago. The subscription doesn’t begin until august, that’s why you haven’t received a box yet!

I’ve signed up and am willing to give them a try. I appreciate high end products and will look forward to seeing how well they can deliver satisfaction in a box!

I won’t be signing up for another year. I was really disappointed the majority of the year. The majority of the items were eyeshadow or blush. Also no customization at all.

I signed up for my second year! This is a really great beauty brand IMO and I feel that the first year was better, but the second year has been really great as well and we still have two months left. For those concerned about the possibility of getting only one item some months, the one item is usually kaleidoscope or some other high value product, so those months can actually be the best! Anything I don’t like I sell easily and the fact that I can do that makes it even more worth it!

I know this may make me sound like an idiot but how do you sell those items? On Amazon? Swap through here? I’m often ending up with items I either know I don’t like or try and don’t like, but I feel like I’m stuck with them! Any guidance would be appreciated.

Not at all! It’s a little bit of work to get started, but I’ve been selling on eBay and it’s been working out really well! I sell only unused items and just repack them in the same box that they ship them in.

Just ONE item? one. For just $10 more a month, you can get Popsugar with a bunch of full size items. I just don’t understand. Even with the companies high-end sounding French name. Mais non!

I am sorry. If I paid that kind of money and my first box I got ONE item. I would lose it!!!!

I’m tempted to sign up but I was going through Liz’s reviews and I don’t like the fact that they send out makeup without knowing anything about our color/skin type, etc. If the subscription is only open for a few days and it involves a year commitment it seems to me that there’s plenty of time to become familiar with their individual clients. Foundation, face powder, even lipstick is totally useless if the color doesn’t work. If the sub offered multiple items each month and one or two were the wrong color that wouldn’t be a big deal but to order and hope that items will be a match doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. So, much as I’m tempted I think I’ll keep an eye on what items are offered this year and wait to take the plunge. As Nancy said above, I could take that money to the beauty counter and purchase what I want (and return it if I chose wrong). I really want OuiPlease if I’m going to lay out all that money!

I have been a subscriber this past year and have been more than impressed with what I have gotten. In the first months box they included a card asking you to tell them about your skin tone and what other high end foundations you use so they could match your coloring to their products. I have been very happy with this service.

I love high end beauty products but I think I’d rather take that $348 to the beauty counter and pick out exactly what I want.

I was looking at the reviews from the past few months and it seems for the past few months they have been sending out old items 🙁 Like nail polish from 2-3 years ago. I will hold off.
