Hamptons Lane June 2015

We have spoilers for the June Hamptons Lane box! The theme this month is Summer Picnic:

Cook like you’re at the Casbah with an authentic handtossed ceramic tagine and the exotic spices of Morocco. A harissa sauce crafted in small batches according to a Casablanca mother’s recipe is the perfect base for your tagine and a flavorful garnish for side dishes and salads at your Moroccan feast. Pair it with a custom blended Ras el Hanout spice mixture and rare Israeli couscous and you have an authentic Moroccan Night meal that will transport you to the North African souks and spice markets.

Products:

Handmade Ivory Ceramic Tagine by Le Souk Ceramique (Nabeul, Tunisia)

Artisanal Moroccan Harissa No. 1 from Villa Jerada (Seattle, Washington)

Ras el Hanout Spice Blend from RawSpiceBar (Los Angeles, California)

Israeli Couscous from Nuts.com (Cranford, New Jersey)

What do you think of the June Hamptons Lane box spoiler theme?

FYI – this box will be available on June 1st, and subscribers will have the option to skip the month if they aren’t interested. If you haven’t signed up yet, make sure to use coupon code Subscription10 to save $10 off your first box.

As much as I love this theme I will probably pass on it. I already own a huge tagine that I keep at my main home. I could get this box and then have a tagine at my cabin but the ivory is so boring looking and do I need another cookware item in a tiny 480 square foot place. If it had been one with a beautiful pattern I would have gone for it.

I constantly lust over this sub. Too bad they only ship to US. As many of their boxes I would’ve order it. Hope everyone is able to get it enjoys it. As always I look forward on Lindsey’s review on this one.

I’ve been wanting a tagine for a long time, but this one is too small. Even when I cook for just my husband and I, I still want to have leftovers. Three or four chicken thighs just won’t cut it 🙂

If you have a Cost Plus World Market near you, they usually have a good selection of tagines. I’m not sure about their online selection, but that might also be a good place to look.

While I like the theme (Moroccan food is amazing), the particular items aren’t calling my name. I think this one will be a pass for me.

I would love this box. However, we have a ton of ras el hanout and a large tagine already. I love that hampdens lane gives you a full spoiler, for this kind of box it’s so necessary. The curtation is always well done, with top quality ingredients. Hopefully next month can tempt me back.

It’s interesting how I haven’t heard of certain things until subscription boxes such as tagines. I already own a small one from Globe-In and now Hampton Lanes is offering a meal size tagine.
