I feel silly for still not getting this but when you sign up you pay either $49 or $149 and get the clothes accordingly with the size tote you pick. If you decide to keep your tote do you pay any additional money to keep the items or the amount you paid covers it? I might be getting this confused with the Wantable subscription.

You don’t really sign up its more ordering as it is not a monthly recurring item. They just launch a new sale each month. Whichever tote you pick either $49 or $149 that is the whole fee (except shipping for the $49 its free for $149 and tax depending on where you live). If you decided to keep it you are done. If you want to trade some items that did not work there is the MSA swap site and the Golden Tote Facebook swap group. If you don’t like anything you can return the entire tote but you have to pay the shipping.

Been a couple months since I’ve ordered, just wondering if anyone can tell me what it means when your order goes from “pending” to “processing”?? I’m one of the few not on fb, so I don’t see updates, wondering if anyone has seen a shipping notice & what order number they could be on right now {I’m excited for some new clothes…can you tell??}

I’ve been a GT customer/advocate for years… that ended today when I couldn’t log into the site despite testing my username and password last week and the Forgot Password? link didn’t work. I’ve put up with a lot (many many MANY site issues, shipping delays, customer service responses sent unacceptably late) but that was the last straw. It broke my heart, but I unsubscribed from their e-mail list and dropped them and the Trading Group on FB. I love the clothes but just can’t handle the stress!

Notice it says “first 3,000 May shipments” so I am thinking that means those who paid for priority shipping MIGHT get bumped ahead of those who didn’t.
Not sure, maybe they meant “first 3,000 orders” but didn’t carefully phrase this.

Priority shipping doesn’t change when they actually ship, they just select a faster shipping method once it leaves them. They still put totes together in order and ship out from there. I assumed it meant that if people ordered multiple totes, and they shipped together, they would only get the extra on the shipment as a whole.

This will be my first golden tote ever. I usually never spend this much money at one time, but I absolutely loved both of the white dresses and I feel like I will get a lot of use out of them. Hopefully the other items are fabulous, but if not, I’m sure they will make good swaps. Only took me a second to check out.

I got one of the white dresses as well. I had a meeting for the first hour of the sale and I was VERY happy to see that they had the off white in stock..sold out of grey (whew)

I ordered the navy midi dress {think that’s what it’s called} & the mixed media swing dress. No matter how many times I phrase “i love dresses” in my style profile, they always seem to send tops/blouses {that’s why I tend to pick my chosen items as tops, so my surprise items can be dresses}. This time I decided to go straight for the dresses…
I chose the 20 buck expedited air option too…I’ll love GT, they are truly a great company…but they have really let a lot of us down lately.

I got a $49 tote with the plaid looking white shirt and added on the Puella mixed media swing dress. Can’t wait. I shouldn’t have done it, I’ve spent WAY too much lately. Guess I need to start posting my stuff on eBay that I’ve been planning to.

This is what I was going to do, until I realized that the mixed dress is $78 to add on!??! I might as well buy the $149 tote then….but that is more than I want to spend….so sad 🙁 Hoping to get the dress on the trade boards!

I was able to add it on for $40…I did a $49 tote, and checked out for under $100 with taxes and shipping!

Browsing and checkout was quick and easy today, probably the best experience I’ve had with GT to date. Now they just need to improve on their shipping times.
