May was my first month, and I really liked it. Everything got used almost immediately. My future mother-in-law came to visit earlier this week, and I baked the brownie mix as an impromptu late birthday cake, even used the candles. Yay, May box! I’m using the basket to store nail polish, the sugar goes well in my tea, and the scrubbie cloths were used that same day. The only thing I have yet to use are the coconut oil packets, and that’s only because I already have coconut oil that I’m using up.

As wonderful as the coasters look (and the recycled aspect is really thrilling), I have plenty of them already. After much debate, I called to cancel, wishing that I could just skip next month instead. The very friendly woman that I spoke with said that she could allow me to skip next month and allow billing to pick up again in July. How awesome!

So, just fyi, if you are considering cancelling due to a theme or spoiler for the next box, call and ask to skip instead. Me, personally, I would so prefer this option, particularly for a box like this, where it helps support artisans and fair commerce in other countries.
