Geek Me Box Subscription Review – April 2015 Box

Geek Me Box is a relatively new subscription box in the geek genre. (My husband loves these boxes so we’ve been subscribing to everyone we can find that ships to the US!)

Geek Me Box Subscription Review – April 2015 Tee

A Link to the Snitch Tee - Value $20

This shirt is made with 100% ringspun cotton.

Geek Me Box Subscription Review – April 2015 Thor

Avengers Age of Ultron Thor POP Vinyl - Value $9

Of course we were happy to see this POP in the box! (Subscribers will receive one of seven characters). We just saw Age of Ultron on Monday, and I think Thor had the funniest lines, so I'm glad we got him!

Geek Me Box Subscription Review – April 2015 GoT

Game of Thrones Vinyl Figure Mystery Mini Series 2 - Value $9

Another series my husband collects! And he doesn't have Joffrey either!

Geek Me Box Subscription Review – April 2015 Socks

Harry Potter Logo Projection Flashlight - Value $6.50

Legend of Zelda Socks - Value $5

I love all things Harry Potter, so this flashlight is going on my keychain asap! We're not Zelda fans, so we'll probably end up swapping these socks though. (Subscribers will receive 1 of 5 versions).

Verdict: This box has a retail value of about $49. I think that's pretty good for the $30 price, but given how many t-shirts we get in geek boxes, I personally wouldn't put the value of the tee at $20.

What do you think of the April Geek Me Box?

The box’s content is really nice! Normally when I look at most of the Geek boxes, they always seem like half-pleasing, half-meh, but this one actually has a lot of items I’d love.

Could you do a post comparing the different geek boxes? There are so many of them now.

I’m pretty sure that GoT Mystery Mini is Jamie Lannister. He has a gold hand. 🙂 (GoT fanatic here! 😉 )

I love that shirt. I’m also a Harry Potter nerd. I am so tempted to sign up for the geek boxes just for the Harry Potter stuff….

That shirt is so great!
If anyone gets the Zelda socks and wants to swap or sell them please let me know. My daughter loves Zelda and they will go great with the game box theme I’ve made for her birthday 🙂

For some reason I like seeing what’s in these gamer type boxes even though I’m personally not interested in the products. The other night during a bout of insomnia, I watched about 10 of your husbands unboxing videos for them, he does a great job and I love his genuine excitement.

I love the art on the t-shirt. Made me giggle. I might try this one out once I get low on t-shirts and toys. I had to stop my Loot Crate sub a while back because I had too much of it piling up.
