I always see items in the men’s box I like, kinda wish Birchbox (or anyone) would release a sub for female tomboys. I’d rather get a cocktail mix, maybe a Pura Vida bracelet and a lip balm than my 117th nail polish or mascara.

We hot the happy socks two months ago and though my bf loves them I’m worried we will get a pair that he already has so I just canceled and saved the $20. Well…half of it….had to open a new women’s account for that beauty blender!

Is this the same everywhere? – My son and his friends are into socks. They love all kind of socks and it is a big deal. He even goes to Target and male cashiers will comment on his socks. Guess what he picked? The socks 🙂

This month, IMO, the choices are meh. Will go with socks or luggage tag. Would prefer more normal, business appropriate socks though.

Meh. As much as I love Birchbox, twice as much for the men’s box, and the lifestyle items have always been underwhelming for him, had to cancel his. Now they offer the box upgrade like they did for mine, but again, meh.
Ties and socks and earbuds and pocket squares and the like are just not things that excite him enough to keep. This is purely taste, and not meant to disparage Birchbox Men. The quality is there, as the value is usually good, it’s just the lifestyle items generally don’t match up to his tastes.

I too am underwhelmed with this month’s choices. The socks are nice, but they’ve been a box selection off and on for the last few months.
The bottlehook is kind of cool and one of those things you wouldn’t buy yourself perhaps. But you can’t keep a hook on your belt loop in a professional setting.
The curated box may be worth a second look.
