It's always so hard to pick a favorite item with this subscription - all the soaps smell amazing!

The tropical delight soap is more subtly scented than I expected - but I like it! Lavender is always a win for me, and this silk soap bar is formulated to be super moisturizing, so I can't wait to try it. And last but not least, Lemon Delight! Citrus scents are probably my favorite scent, so this may be my favorite in the box.

Citrus Shea Balm Sampler - Value $3

This is another subtly scented item - I actually can smell the shea more than the citrus essential oils. It's still a lovely product, but I was hoping for more citrus scent.

Verdict: I love getting this box in the mail - you can smell the natural soap scent before you even open the box! The value of the box is always a little more than the cost of the items, plus free shipping, so I think it is worth it too. (This month’s box has a value of about $21).

What do you think of the April 2015 Sudsy Box?

Augustina,

The reason we decided to quit doing Sudsy Box is that the business was growing so fast. My next step was to have to purchase equipment that would force us to produce it commercially. That would compromise the quality of Sudsy Bars and who Sudsy & Co. is. Now customers have the option of going to http://www.sudsyandcompany.com and ordering the exact scents they like and the quantity that they need. You also get rewards points to get money off of product. You get 500 points for signing up, which is $5.00 off your order. Every time you order you get points. I know it is not as convenient to get them shipped automatically, but now you don’t have to worry about getting scents that may not appeal to you. I hope that you continue to enjoy my soaps and earn rewards for purchasing them! If you have any questions at all, please contact me at any time.

Have a great week,

Heidi

Here’s the conversation I had with my husband today.

Me -Do you need more soap?
DH- I took the Sudsy Lemon soap.
Me – No! I told you yesterday the box is cancelled. There are other soaps in the soap box.
DH- Sudsy soaps smells the best.

We don’t share soaps because I prefer real soap. He used to buy his drugstore soap until I started to get Sudsy. Now it’s habit. There’s usually one bar in the sub box that appeals to him. I should had told him Sudsy is now off limits! There’s other soaps there thanks to sub boxes. Pick one of those!

I just started with Sudsy Box and was sad to get the email as well. Though I am glad I signed up for the full year and knowing you can still order is a plus! Just finding this great company I would be so upset if it was going away completely!

Rachel….we are here to stay! It was just growing so fast I was going to have to go to commercial equipment, and I felt that would compromise my bars and who Sudsy & Co. is. You will still get the awesome boxes until your subscription is fully up! After that, you can order what products you want and when you need them. I am so glad you are enjoying the Sudsy Bars!! If you have any questions at all, please contact me anytime. 🙂

I received an email that the sub box is coming to an end. They will continue to send out boxes until your sub runs out. I’m a bimonthly subscriber so this is my last one.

The good news is she is concentrating on her main business. Her soaps and other products will be available for purchase online.

I’m sad it’s coming to an end 🙁

It was a tough decision, but it was to the point of having to go with commercial molds to fulfill orders. That is not what Sudsy & Co. is. I want to keep to the small batch artisan bars. It’s really not such a bad thing. You can still order the same great products through http://www.sudysandcompany.com. But…you can order WHAT you want in the quantity that you want. If anyone has any questions at all, please contact me any time at http://[email protected]

I just got my box today! I love the lemon and tropical soaps – I’m not sure about the eucalyptus one, but I like lavender and the description is intriguing, so I might actually try that one first!

I’m usually all about high value subs, but even though this one isn’t like that, I really enjoy it. These soaps make my morning shower so much more enjoyable. That sounds silly, but I am just really glad I found this one! (Thanks Liz!)

My box arrived today. I love opening Heidi’s boxes. They have a wonderful scent. It was a hard decision to decide which soap to try, but I must try one tomorrow 🙂 I decided on the Eucalyptus Lavender Silk.

I usually have 3-4 soaps open and keep them in the travel soap containers. It’s fun having a choice.

I find it very interesting that there are NO Sudsy Box items on the swap… not one! That tells me that everyone likes all the stuff they get – or at least finds it worthy of gifting to family & friends. 🙂

I didn’t order the monthly subscription but I ordered a few things of the website b/c I wanted to try specific scents. I can’t wait for my order to arrive!! It will be my first time trying their products.

Follow up: I got my Sudsy order today! I got the Morning Mist & Woodland Mint soaps ($6 each) b/c I love mint scents – they both smell great in the wrapping and I can’t wait to actually use them! (I’m almost tempted to shower tonight b/c I’m so excited but I’ll try to hold out until tomorrow morning.)

I also ordered the Wild Rose Sea Salt Scrub ($14.50) and had to use it immediately! (Yes, I stirred it up good as Heidi’s thoughtful handwritten note reminded me.) The rose smell is AMAZING and very subtle once you wash the scrub off your hands. (I almost wish it would smell stronger but then I would constantly be smelling my hands! Plus it might conflict with people’s perfumes & such so really it’s perfect, I think.) And the reviews that said you don’t need to use lotion after the scrub are spot on. My hands are so soft right now… almost a little oily/greasy – not in a bad way, but I probably could have rinsed a little better or dried a little more with my towel (I pat dry more than I rub.) I really wish I’d had this stuff in the winter!

Lastly, and I don’t want to set the expectation that she does all the time, but my package included 2 (not 1, but 2) bonus items!! Completely unexpected and so wonderful! I got a small (1 oz maybe? instead of the full size 4 oz) bar of Lemon Delight soap AND a Pepperment Glossy Lip Balm – that I love! Seriously?

Heidi has a new loyal customer here – I already know what I want in my next order. Once I’ve finished one of these bars (and start the 2nd one), I want the Wild Rose Bar Soap, the Lavendar Eucalyptus Soap (it was sold out when I ordered but it looks like it’s available now!), and I might splurge on her new Replenish Facial Moisturizer Spray for $22.50.

Sorry this was so long! I sound like a commercial but I swear I have no affiliation to Sudsy, I don’t know Heidi and no one is reimbursing me to say any of this. I’m just a very happy consumer who wants to share my experience in case anyone is considering whether to try any of the Sudsy products! And I don’t know if I’ll be able to wait until I finish one of these soap bars before I place that second order… oh boy. 🙂

heat7918 Thank you for sharing. I receive the sub, but am thinking about buying soaps for my sister. It’s great to hear that you enjoy it.

Erica

I like this box but don’t think I could ever use that much soap!

You can always gift what you don’t use. The bars are wrapped really nice.

I can’t wait for my box to arrive! It’s going to be hard to select a favorite scent this month.

Courtney

Value seems low when you could order them individually for the same price.

Is there free shipping?

Reply ButtonReply

PA Anna

Yes. free shipping. There is a 20% off code on the website too for the first box.
