FYI - Citrus Lane subscriptions are shutting down. If you are looking for an alternative baby subscription box, we recommend Bluum. Check out our Bluum reviews to learn more about this subscription.
Citrus Lane is a subscription box for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. (They customize your box to your child’s age and gender). The box I’m reviewing today is for a newborn. (Gender neutral). (Our very good friends are expecting their first child in May, so I’m trying to get them as many helpful newborn products as I can by then!)
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription Box: Citrus Lane
The Cost: $29 a month (or $24 a month with 3 month plan, $21 a month with 6 month plan)

Each box comes with a fold out card detailing the items included.
Garden Rhymes Board Book - Value $5.70
The illustration in this book is adorable - it is all made to look like patchwork, embroidery, etc.
Episencial Snuggly Lotion - Value $9.50
This lotion is made with only natural and organic ingredients, plus it is gluten free and vegan too!
North American Bear Co. Cozie - Value $10
Every month Citrus Lane allows subscribers to pick the variation of one item in their box, and this was the item selected for Newborn boxes in May. I had to pick this little baseball bear!
Green Toys Twist Teether - Value $11
I love getting Green Toys in subscription boxes - I always feel so great about gifting them since they are BPA, PVC, and phthalate free!
Verdict: This box has a value of about $36. That's typically what I expect from Citrus Lane - a value at least a little more than the cost of the monthly box. For me, the value for this box is more about the quality of items included - I think they consistently send out great brands.
