While I’m super duper excited, isn’t the $39.95 value kind of misleading considering it’s sold on Birch Box for $20? I’m confused by the discrepancy….

It is misleading. It’s great quality though, I’ll give it that. It was 9.95 on their site when it was introduced. I’ve never seen them sell it for 39. it’s always 19.99 – each time I’ve looked. I have the revealed 1 & 2. I will say it’s a GREAT palette though. It’s sad I have it already!! lol. Not close enough to being used up either. I just have too much makeup. I guess I’ll gift it to someone, would make a great gift for sure – love boxy still and think they are one of the best!

I kinda agree, but it seems to me they go for the whole value as in what the brand would normally sell it for. On Coastal Scents it’s listed as $39.95 value but on sale for $19.95. Although it’s also out of stock on their website.

Very excited for this month! The only eyeshadow palettes I have are elf ones, so I’m very excited for this! I loved the coastal scents blush sample I got in an ipsy last year. This box is so crazy with the value it sends out! There’s like sixty bucks value in this box from just two items!

After these spoilers I immediately signed up, like I need more makeup lol. For anyone wondering the same thing I was, I signed up today and it said I will be getting the April box. So excited!!

I think it’s good I don’t subscribe. I have been using that exact palette every weekday ALL YEAR and only hit pan on one light color last week or so. Certainly don’t need a second! But if I didn’t have it, I would be happy to get that in a box.

Can someone who is a subscriber to Boxycharm explain their “charm” system to me? Like how many charms to a full size item redemption and how many do you get per review of items (I know you get 450 after 90 days of being subscribed but I’m confused after that), would love this box just don’t understand these points yet. Any help is appreciated!

Adding to what Jen said – The reason why it takes awhile for the item to ship is because it doesn’t ship separately. They ship it with your next box. I usually don’t receive my box until around the 20th of the month and I redeemed some points about the 13th of last month. Because March’s box was already shipped out, I have to wait till April’s box arrives to receive it. Not a big deal, but just keep that in mind.
As for the points – Most of the products (with slightly variations) are like this. If the product cost $22 then you need 2,200 charms to redeem it. $55 dollars – 5,500 charms. If it’s $18 dollars, it’s 2,000 charms. $15.95 is most likely to be 1,600 charms. $14.95 – 1,500 charms.

For Boxycharm, each review you do is 50 points. You can also pin the any item on the site or share items on Facebook and receive 50 points each. The items you pin/share/review do not have to be items you have received via Boxycharm. There are usually only 10 or so items you can use your points to redeem, but usually they’re pretty decent. The products are anywhere from 1000-5500 points each depending on their retail price. I’ve only gotten one product with my points so far and it took quite awhile for them to send it out. Hope that helps!

Honestly, I was not looking to add BoxyCharm (I have enough subs!) but I subbed a few months ago for something I really wanted – I forget – and meant to cancel after the one month. Instead I have been happy with every month and haven’t cancelled. I’m a fan so far.
