Wantable Accessories is one of the three Wantable subscription options. Each month they typically send you three items in categories like jewelry, scarves, sunglasses, etc. You can heavily customize this box by picking out which categories of items you want, and what styles and materials you prefer. (Lately I’ve been requesting only scarves and hair accessories – but I recently opened up to watches and necklaces too.)

Here is the invoice of my order with retail prices. Since Wantable now accepts returns on single items, they also give "Your Price" next to the retail price. (That's how much you would be refunded if you returned that piece). If you keep everything, you get a $4 credit for your next box.

This is a very lightweight fabric - it is a little sheer too. I think the fabric and colors are perfect for Spring.

Delany Headband in Gold - Retail Value $18

While I prefer gold tone jewelry, I don't really wear gold jewelry-inspired headbands. (I prefer more fabric pieces). So keep that in mind if you are opting for both jewelry and hair accessories.

Tracy Necklace in Pink/Gold - Retail Value $18

This is a pretty bold necklace for me, but I do love a pop of Barbie-pink. I'll probably pair this with a black top or dress to keep things balanced.

Verdict: I liked my box this month, but probably not as much as my February 2015 Wantable Accessories box. (Since some of these pieces are a little bold for me, I know I won't wear them every day). This box has a retail value listed as $79. Since Wantable doesn't send items that are branded in this box typically, I'm basing that retail value completely on Wantable's invoice. In general I'd say it's easier to just ask if each item is worth $10 to you.

I like that they've introduced individual item returns on all boxes too.

I just went to the Wantable website and I cannot understand the return/credit/refund/etc policy. Can you explain it? Why is there a combination of store credits and refunds to credit cards? If you keep the whole box, you get 4 dollars…where? On account to use toward what? Is this 4 coming off of 40 or 36? So the box is really $32 is you keep it? No doubt things will be returned and these credits will pile up, how do we spend them? Is there a shop? Or is it just paid forward one month and applied to the box purchase price?

This is the most convoluted policy I’ve ever seen on a sub box. Maybe, Liz, using this box you just received, you could give us an example of how it works if you returned one of your items, say that hairband? Oh, and are returns FREE with a pre-authorized barcoded label that they supply?

I loved this box and so ordered April. The website had stated first box $40 subsequent boxes $36

I was charged 40 and when I queried this she said oh sorry you will get the discount with May. I asked where does it state this info on your website. She told me it’s under shipping/returns. Why would I look there when it’s a pricing issue? Secondly she said an email was sent Feb 16. I wasn’t subscribed then.

This has left a very bad taste in my mouth. I know it is only $4 but I don’t like what I perceive as bait and switch tactics

I won’t be ordering any more boxes which is a shame as I really loved them

I just read thru the website again and it is very misleading, in fact, it makes no sense at all. I signed up but I actually have no idea what this will cost me every month with their bizarre way of issuing credits if you keep a full box. A credit against what? The next month’s $36 box? This is my fifth jewery sub box, I have done all the major ones and all were poor quality, bad service and confusing terms. Wantable is supposed to be more businesslike, but your experience does not bear that out. Thanks for sharing.

It isn’t as convoluted as it sounds. The first box is $40. If you keep everything in that box you get a $4 credit towards the next box. So if you pay $40 for April and keep it all your May charge will be $36. If you return an item then you are refunded the amount listed as “your price” on the order details sheet. This is refunded to your credit card.

Last month I received that same scarf… It was very pretty. Also another one that was shades of peach. This month, two more scarves, one entirely peach colored with sparkles, and another with a peach background and a navy print. Now, I like peach as much as the next girl, but… Kinda ridiculous. Imagine my surprise as well, when I saw the exact same scarfon sale on eBay for 99 cents.
