I have been toying with idea of this subscription, but WOW, I can’t believe none of these looks appealing at all.

I agree. I just signed up after debating it for a while, and the first menu they sent me was not good. And actually, for the first box with the four free plates, they picked my three meals for me; there were no choices! I actually cancelled it because 2 of the 3 meals would not have been eaten at my house , but instead of a refund they did a credit for the next box. So I’m getting my first box this week. The menu choices were a little better but none as appealing as I would have liked (except for the two more expensive meals). I’m waiting to see how they taste before judging too much, as part of my reason for trying it is to get us out of our usual food ruts! But I feel like earlier this spring the menus all looked awesome and then during the last few weeks they haven’t been as appealing to me.

When I signed up for the free plates they chose my plates as well. It did let me change them, though. I just had to cancel the ones I wasn’t interested in and replace them with the ones that look good.
