I’ve had several different dinners from Freshly; most of them were pretty good. They definitely didn’t taste like a frozen meal you would make in the microwave normally. I am especially impressed with how good they can make meat and vegetables taste considering you are warming them in the microwave. I think the price is a little steep, but that is for the convenience factor. If you are in the market for this type of thing, give it a shot.

This looks interesting to me at the $114.50 for 21 meals that the 50% off coupon allows, but not at the regular rate. I’m going to try it for a week. Who knows, maybe I’ll lose 5-10 pounds. The meals look really good for the most part, but I wish I could pick any combination of 21 meals I want, since their breakfasts are all egg scrambles or omelets. I do like that on the left you can remove any ingredient you want from showing up, but once you take out pork products the selection is far more limited.

Because the food is not frozen, I guess you could re-heat the meals in a pan or in the oven, but honestly, 1-2 min in the microwave does not make the food rubbery at all. Infact the peppercorn steak & carrots meal I had for dinner tonight was absolutely delicious. The steak was incredibly tender & the carrots were still slightly crunchy (like cooked veggies should be). If they deliver in your area, I recommend giving freshly a try. I just received my order yesterday, but so far the food I’ve eaten has been excellent. (If it helps to know, I’m very picky when it comes to good food).

Couldn’t find any vegetarian options that weren’t an omelette so I’m not sure they’re really veg or vegan friendly.

They look like they have a pretty nice menu at a reasonable price, I wish they delivered to my area.

I wish the shipped to more than just West Coast! I’d like to try them.

Although I imagine you have to microwave these meals. I wish there was a service that sent you meals that you didn’t reheat in the microwave…I hate the rubbery taste!

OK, guess they don’t want my money.

I can’t wait until they start shipping to the East coast! I liked a lot of their menu selections.
