Reminder – Check Your Email for Birchbox Sample Selection!

Does anyone have a feeling for how often Birchbox does an extra points with purchase coupon code? I remember I once made a random purchase in the Birchbox shop and used a coupon code that gave me double points on my purchase. Are these really rare? I want to make a big purchase but I would wait if these come around fairly often in people’s experience. Thank you!

Aloha! By the time I got my email (yesterday) everything was already out of stock. I got it the day after I posted I hadn’t received it yet on this thread. I order a LOT of from BB and I really wish they valued their customers more.

Does anyone know how they notify you if you’ve made the BB ACES status? I know that I’ve spent enough to have made it, but I still haven’t seen anything saying that I’m an ACE. So frustrated with BB right now.

FYI I emailed them and they were able to put me on the reservation list for the Blow out spray even though it said they were out of stock.

Just FYI, I used the points I’d accumulated to gift myself (under another name) a 3-months subscription, and I got to chose early (same day as ACES) for my second box (first box is chosen by the gifter).

I was planning to pick It’s a 10 just because I already have it and love it, so another sample of it couldn’t hurt. Unfortunately, they were already out of stock, so I went with the Amika. I don’t know how much I’ll love it because the reviews say it’s not really moisturizing and I need moisture for my highlighted hair, but I didn’t want another hair oil…especially one that contains argan oil, because that sometimes tints my blonde hair.

I didn’t really like the curated box. The only thing that somewhat interested me is the blush, but not enough to get that box. I’ve already had enough of Whish, and I’ve only had Birchbox since December (two of my boxes contained Whish already).

Poo!! The blow out spray was already gone and the its a ten! It’s not even been an hour since I received the email! I already received the hair oil in a box.. bummed I have to get it again.. 🙁

Damn it, I finally got the email and it says the it’s a 10 is out of stock! I was so excited for that product, that’s so disapointing.

I got the Amika blowout spray under my first account and the curated box under my second account. I’d also like to try to the It’s A 10 product at some point so I will cross my fingers that it shows up in a future box. 🙂

I still haven’t gotten an email…I didn’t get one last month either and had to email them. Should I have received one by now? Has anyone else not received theirs?

I am on the fence about subscribing. Last month’s box was not one of my favorites. Does anyone know if I subscribe now which month’s box would be my first? I really would like to start with March.

My email came through this morning and I decided to not pick. The sea salt spray was a perfect choice for me last month and I also received the Benefit mascara in my box too. None of the selections this month sound appealing to me though.

I normally boast nothing but praise for BB, however lately they have been less than stellar for me. I’ve placed two pretty big orders and one shipped within three days and the other one (that I actually placed before the one that has shipped) hasn’t even finished “processing” yet. I also just got my January box last week and my December and November boxes also arrived in the next months. I totally understand the weather thing recently, but the monthly box should arrive in the month it’s for. I know living in Hawaii can cause some delays in shipping at times, but other boxes get to me on time. Uuugghh! Sorry, I’m going to stop ranting now. 😎

Definitely getting the It’s A 10. I prefer the ‘Plus Keratin’ one, but the It’s a 10 line is brilliant none the less.

Don’t know which I want for my 2nd account. Contemplating another It’s A 10 or letting Birchbox send me whatever. I keep going back and forth with that curated box… I like the Almond Butter and the Blush, the other 3 items are fine but not wowing me. Decisions decisions!

Not picking a sample again this month. Didn’t pick last month and still ended up with the mascara. I got the oil a few boxes ago and the It’s a 10 last month so hopefully I won’t get a repeat.

I went with the Amika. I have so much hair oil and just got the 10 last month. I also got a blush in ipsy this month so no need for that. Enjoy, everyone!

I just got that Whish body butter in another box, in lavender, and I liked it so much I bought a giant bottle at costco, which also came with a travel tube. I’m not crazy about almond. So I don’t think I will pick that box. Also I did not like that Amika mask that came last, it stripped all the color out of my hair! What happens if you don’t pick a sample OR the featured box? That is probably what I will do.

I got the email already and picked the Beauty Solutions box, I LOVE Laura Geller!! Can’t wait!

I’m really torn on picking the curated box or going for the Amika. I feel like I’ve tried enough Whish stuff, but I’m sure the almond lotion smells divine. I’m also not terribly interested in an eye cream and a face cream in one box, but I’d love to try the spray and I always love getting blush.

Argh. No e-mail yet. I have an eye doctor’s appointment this afternoon and I am sure the e-mail will come while I am there. (I do not have a smartphone so I can’t respond when it comes.)

I really wish I could try all. If I could afford it, I would sign up for a second box. I decided to go with the editor box because I haven’t tried any of those products and they all sound great! But I honestly would’ve been happy with any of the choices this month.
