I bought February’s outfit called Havana expecting its predominant top color to be a soft salmon/apricot. Imagine my surprise when I opened my package from Fabletics only to find it was instead the blazing orange/pink of the safety vests road construction workers wear. It was truly neon traffic cone orange-pink. While it’s still a nice outfit, it’s certainly not what was depicted on the website. I know colors can vary slightly from webpage/monitor screen but the difference was astounding.

So interesting to see such negative feedback on fabletics; I am new to the service but I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Some of the tops are on the thin side and don’t hold up well to washing (forward and vibe tees, I’m looking at you) but the leggings are all so amazing I am willing to overlook that. I got the westin top and the new gray/pink/yellow salar leggings (the outfit on the far right of the pic you posted). Plus I had 1000 points thanks to placing huge orders in January and reviewing everything (and maybe a referral too, i’m still not clear on how I hit 1000 so fast), so this outfit was only $20 for me. Woohoo!

Everybody else get the email about spend 100 get 20 off later this month? I was going to skip but they had some run capris in the sale section and I’ve been wanting to try. So i got vizcaya (with the new black run capris) and some items from the sale section. I didnt see any fine print so i hope it goes through

I know I am in the minority but I HATE fabletics. Hate them. I got one outfit, months ago, and only liked one of the 3 pieces. Since then I’ve been skipping—hoping every every month to find something I like, but no. I haven’t quit because I have a $20 credit— and I still can’t find anything I like.

I hate how almost all of their leggings are ‘maximum compression’, ugh. I hate how they embrace the crossfront, backless, hooker-y tops.

But the thing I hate the LOATHE is how, every month, I find 1-2 outfits that I do actually like, and 1 of the 3 pieces is sold out in every color! Even when it’s “my pick” and it’s the morning of the first of the month, 1 of the pieces in my size is sold out in every color! WTH? Why do they have it advertised then? And more importantly, why oh WHY am I not given an option to switch out to a different style of that piece? This month I actually love one of my picks. But the bra is sold out in every color. So why can’t I get that outfit with a different bra??? It’s beyond aggravating.

I know I’m ranting. Sorry. I would just cancel except I keep hoping to use my credit. Actually, I guess I’ll just cancel and lose the credit. It’s not worth the perpetual aggravation.

fyi you can purchase pieces individually if you’re just looking to use up your credit before you cancel. I’ve been aggravated too about everything being out of stock (and fit/quality is not comparable to the brands they compare themselves too).

You should try contacting their customer service if you find that situation again. I’ve had great service from them, and I’ll bet they’d be willing to switch out a piece for you!

I have to agree about outfits selling out. I barely got the pink pants I wanted but had to pick a shirt I didn’t really want. I have had to contact them about selling out on the first day and they offered to replace the item that was sold out with one they had in stock, but I understand the frustration.

Melody

I agree with you. I don’t hate them as much but it’s frustrating when I do find an outfit I like they are always sold out in the colors and sizes I want. I hate those bra/shirt combos where the back of the tank goes through the bra. I don’t understand they are so weird looking. I typically don’t like their patterns. And I completely agree they need to give an option to switch out something so you can pick a different top or bra if you don’t like it or it’s sold out.

I would totally sign up for this, however, my Mom signed up for JustFab (sister site) and when she tried to cancel, she ended up spending 40 minutes on the phone with someone who kept trying to get her to stay signed up or to sign up for something else. This is where I draw the line with subscription services… if I give you my hard earned money and a link to my bank account/credit card/paypal to allow you to take out funds, I should be able to click a button to cancel that service at any time and NOT have to call a number to cancel. This is why I cancelled Julep – however, I was able to cancel via email after fighting with them again and again to cancel. They kept telling me to call them to “verify” who I was and I kept telling them “this is the email address I used to sign up – here’s my account number, etc and that verifies I am who I am – now cancel my subscription!” Long story short, the minute Fabletics gives me the option to cancel via email or by clicking a link in my account, I’ll sign up and totally try it.

I agree with you that there’s nothing I hate more about a subscription than not being able to cancel easily. I am guessing they do this to avoid people from only getting$25 outfits by signing up and canceling every month.
I actually just cancelled mine because our rent is going up $100 and I have to cut expenses. I was a little scared that it was going to be difficult but I was only on hold maybe 3 minutes and the lady was very nice and cancelled immediately without any sales pitch or trying to convince me otherwise. Because it was so easy I would considering joining them again in the future if I can ever afford it.

Thanks for the reply on how easy it was for you to cancel. Maybe they’ve changed their ways since my Mom’s issue about a year ago… still, I hate having to call to cancel. It’s just silly in my opinion. I’d rather pay full price for my first time to just try it then go through the hassle of having to call during business hours to cancel… I have a full time job so it’s just not practical for me to do so if I want to cancel.

Melody

There are a few things I would love to get but I have to skip this month, I can’t really afford it right now. But I really Love those new Capri leggings that are pink!
