Julep Maven Selection Time for March!

I had planned to skip – have way too much polish – and then was almost seduced by my It Girl box, mainly for the sheer orchid jelly…. Then looked that color up and saw how sheer it is on nails, took hold of my shaky will power, and skipped.

I gpt the Boho box but swapped out the eyeliner for the glitter removal kit. 🙂

This is the first month I actually did the polish lover upgrade. So bad. But I love pastels because they’re very flattering to my skin tone. I love all the colors! Plus last month I was good and I skipped.

I LOVE the colors! I chose the “It Girl” with all the shades. I want that “jelly” shade and like the grey and pastel peach. I wanted to try their liquid liner, but I rather choose the all polish box.

Like several of the other ladies commenting, I have skipped this month as well. I liked a couple of the colors but I’m not crazy about any of them. I have a dozen new julep polishes that haven’t been used once yet. I am requiring myself to at least use a couple of them one time each before I can buy more. Also, I don’t wear lipstick. Their lip treat gloss (January) is available to get instead of the lipgloss, and it is amazing! But I might do that next month. I still have the one I got in January, only used it once so far. Also, I have a clear lip liner from Mary Kay and it is pretty cool.

I am skipping this month for a couple of reasons:

1> I don’t like the colors and i don’t care for matte nail polish…and the new finish is semi-matte which means I’ll probably semi-hate it. So…no.

2> The make-up items were blah to me. I need another lip product like i need a bullet wound. So…no.

Really dislike this color selection and once again, my “normal” box would have only had one polish in it, and two make up items. I don’t like that trend from them either. Easy choice this month – skip.

I’m definitely not a fan of pastel colors, so I’m taking a chance on their Beauty Mystery box for $19.99 and getting a couple add-ons. Crossing my fingers I won’t get horrible colors!

This is the first month I am skipping. Not excited by any of the colors and I still have so many that I haven’t tried from previous boxes. I hope some brighter colors come next month!

I’ll be completely customizing my box. I’m excited to try the new lipsticks (the lids are magnetic! lol), and that “ghost” lip liner has me super intrigued, so I’m getting that. My polishes will probably be add-ons because I feel like they’re a better value that way ($24.95 for three in a Maven Box or $4.99-$6.99 each, as an add-on). I’m liking Nedra, LuLu and Ali.

Not a real big fan of pastels so I’m skipping this month. I need brightness radiating from my fingers! Haha

I don’t really care for the colors this month, last month’s were awesome, I got like 6. This month I’m having a hard time picking anything for my box, I don’t like pastels, I like dark colors.
