Bespoke Post February Selection & Customization Reminder!

This post may contain referral/affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

It’s Bespoke Post selection time! Remember – use coupon code ADDICTION to save 25% off your first box! (FYI – the Knotted Box has customization item this month – so make sure to check your account and pick the variation you want!)

There are two new box options this month:

Bespoke Post February Selection & Customization Reminder! Ties

You can never have too many ties.

Though with this lineup, you might forget about any others in your wardrobe. They’re all made by our good friends at Gilded Age, who specialize in quality-driven, vintage-inspired threads for modern getups.

Pick any three from the collection and watch ’em bring new life to your closet, whether you’re buttoning up for work every day, adding some style to a casual getup, or just hitting the occasional wedding.

We helped design them to capture all the right details, from the fabrics to the construction. The 2.5″ width is slim but not skinny, and each one has a contrast lining to add a hidden cool factor. The results are perfectly modern, plenty versatile, and ready to take your outfits to the next level.

Knife set

You don’t need much to command the kitchen. But if there’s one piece of equipment everyone from pros to newcomers should invest in, a good knife is at the top of the list. Use it well and you’ll breeze through your mise-en-place, making quick and precise work of whatever recipe you’re tackling.

8” Chef’s Knife, Ludwig Schiff

This is your kitchen’s new best friend. The eight inch chef’s style is the ideal one-size-fits-all addition to your culinary arsenal, since it’s easy to handle and perfect for almost any kind of cut. Slice vegetables, trim meat, chop herbs, or tackle nearly anything else.

This one’s made from high carbon, ice tempered stainless steel from Sweden, which gets hand crafted by old school knife makers in Solingen, Germany – home to centuries of top quality knife making. The blade starts off as a raw steel billet, which then gets hand tempered and ground to just the right shape with a perfect center balance, a full tang, and a razor-sharp edge. They’re so good that word of mouth is the only publicity Ludwig Schiff has ever needed in the 60 years they’ve been in the business.

They’ve been the knives of choice at top tier restaurants and kitchens the world over (including the White House), and expert chefs like Julia Child and Anthony Bourdain. The sturdy yet sharp build, detail-oriented craftsmanship, and unbeatable price have made them an under-the-radar favorite that easily beat out more expensive options. Simply put: it’s the best knife you’ve never heard of.

To help round out your culinary skills, we’ve also packed in a blade saver to keep your knife in good shape even when it’s loose in the drawer, and a chef’s towel for wiping down counters, drying your knife, or using as a makeshift pot holder like the pros do.

Dust off your cutting board, tie on an apron, and bring your appetite.

Which Bespoke Post box are you picking this month? The ties in the Knotted box retail for $55 each, so I’m very impressed with the value, but my husband doesn’t wear ties that often… I’m torn between the two boxes this month!

  1. I have 2 more months with Rue La La coupon and I am going to get the knife. It is so hard to buy clothing items/accessories for my husband as he is very picky, so this is a good choice for us as we both love to cook.

  2. Honed looks nice but i checked and already have an 8″ chefs knife, though not as nice 🙁 nice tools make cooking so much easier and more fun, but i cant justify a $45 replacement for something i already own. Dagnabit i want

  3. Picked up the blue pindot, wool tweed and blue chambray ties for my man. The best part is the box is free due to referral credits!

  4. I am going with Honed as I have been in the search for a good knife. Bespoke never ceases to amaze me at their quality finds and great value. A lot of the boxes I get for myself and gifts. If they started a woman’s’ box I would immediately sign up.

  5. I’m going for honed. The guys in my life don’t wear ties that often and considering the 8″ chef knife retails at $80, I think I’m going to tell them I skipped a month and just enjoy the spoils. I’m currently using a santoku (poorly) and a paring knife, so it will be good to add a knife built for that rocking chopping motion without me feeling guilty that I’m wearing down the edge too soon.

  6. I thought about getting Knotted for my teenager. He wants to pick out ties that matches his shirts. Oh well.

  7. I also went with knotted. We got married last summer and are well equipped with knives. Picking out the ties was hard… my husband has mostly plaid shirts so after reading their guide I went with the wool/tweed one and the red and blue chambray. He has mostly patterned silk ties so this will give him some options (although he doesn’t wear ties that often).

I was really hoping they’d come back with the sock box this month…

  8. I’ve been contemplating Bespoke Post for months and finally bit on the Knotted…. my teenager needs to wear a shirt and tie whenever he has a varsity game that day.

THANKS for the coupon, making it really worth the money.

  9. I’m getting the ties for sure, hubby wears them every day for work. Nice selection too, love the dotted one.

    • I got the dotted one too! Also the red chambray and the wool/tweed.
