Bespoke Post Review & Coupon – February 2015 "Honed" Box

Bespoke Post is a monthly men’s subscription box. It’s a very high-quality box, and most of their selections are gender-neutral so I’d say my husband and I love this box equally!

Unlike most subscription boxes, you get to preview the new Bespoke Post box offerings on the first of each month, and you can easily skip any month you aren’t interested in your account section.

This month we picked the Honed box. (We also picked the Knotted Box for February - review of that one coming soon!)

Each box comes with a fold out sheet detailing the items included and it usually has tips on how to one or more of the items.

Bespoke Post Review & Coupon – February 2015 "Honed" Knife

Ludwig Schiff 8" Chef's Knife - Value $80

First, I love that this knife comes in jewelry box-like packaging!

We have this Wusthof knife set, and I thought it was really good, but just from picking up this knife and feeling the weight of it, I can tell we have just improved our kitchen tools! I also appreciate that they included a rubber blade saver sleeve (the item on the left).

Bespoke Post Review & Coupon – February 2015 "Honed" Towel

Kitchen Towel - Value $5?

I appreciate Bespoke Post adding one more useful item to go with the box. This isn't an exciting item by any means, but it will be useful!

Verdict: I'm always a fan of Bespoke Post boxes. You get to add quality items to your home/wardrobe/etc. at a deep discount, and I love that you can skip any month you aren't interested in. We are always so impressed with the quality of the items they include, and this month is no exception!

What did you get from Bespoke Post for February?

I received the Honed box and am very pleased with the quality. Bespoke has really impressed me with the value and great items they find each month. I would love to see them start a women’s box and I would sign up immediately.

I just ordered this as a one time purchase. So excited to have a good chef knife for once!

I got this box and loved all of it! The towel is lightweight and a good multi purpose towel/potholder/bowl stabilizer. The knife is heavier than my low end wusthof santoku, but easier to grip (for me) and VERY sharp. The tang goes all the way through the handle and is triple riveted – I expect to hand this down to a descendant.

I love the knife. I used it the other night and it was better than my Henckel one they made me get for culinary school.
Careful though, I cut a bit of the pad of my finger off without realizing it until I started to bleed. That knife is SHARP!

My 17 year old got the Knotted box, as well. He loves the ties.

I ordered this for a belated V-day gift for my husband. Not so romantic, lol, but he was complaining about our knife, so he was surprised. We are looking forward to putting it to a use soon!

Here is a NYT article from 2 years ago that mentions this knife. It’s selling point is/was that it’s a good knife but much cheaper than the Wusthoff. Except that back then it was $60 – not the $80 it’s now.

I dunno, if you have ever watched “Wives with Knives” in the right hands this could be a very exciting item indeed! Seriously though, people can be super into their favorite knife!!!
