Arianna Huffington Quarterly Box #ARI03 Full Spoilers!
Thanks to Janet we have an email from Arianna Huffington with the complete spoilers for her Quarterly Box #ARI03!
What do you think of the spoilers? I love workout DVDs, and can't wait to try the Yoga Warrior 365 DVD Set. And as someone who is now a BIG believer in the power of sleep thanks to reading Thrive, and Dreamland - I think the "Sleep your way to the top" pillow case is fun.

I’m looking forward to this box. I googled the bracelet and saw that the designer updated her slogan in 2014. Also I noticed from googling the items that this fits in wih things AH has been posting on Huffington. I feel that this box builds upon the first box.

I was too! Any idea what the bracelet might look like. I saw something posted on quarterly twitter but couldn’t download the picture.

So I have been using jawbone for a year and half now. They have the best app out there. Awesome insights to help with sleep, eat and work outs. I couldn’t be happier. The model they will be dispatching is up move . Trust me on this, up is the best fitness tracker out there.

where are the negative reviews about Jawbone UP? It has 4 stars on Amazon and 5 stars on the REI website. Is this the one that is a wristband/bracelet
I know you need either IOS 6 or Android 4.3 which I think are very current ??? I have an Android but have no idea what version….my phone is new though so I’m guessing it will work
As the Jawbone is the “big” item I’d love the know which model before I order the box. Any clues?

One limitation of the Jawbone Up is you have to have a fairly new phone running on the right operating system to be able to use the app. I don’t know all the requirements, but a friend of mine just got one and ended up having to send it back. She was so disappointed.

I was really excited to see these spoilers, I’ve gotten one of her boxes before because of the cost but I’ve always thought it was a great value and she is such a good curator. When I saw that the Jawbone Up was included I went to subscribe, but then thought I should look into it a bit more. I decided not to get it after reading online reviews about the Jawbone and comparing to the FitBit which I have been considering for a while. The reviews on the the Jawbone are just terrible and it looks like the majority of reviewers were very disappointed with both hardware and customer service issues.
Did Arianna look into this and decide it was a good product, or were they just the most affordable vendor to work with? I am going to have to go with the majority and splurge on the FitBit instead of this box. Oh well 🙁

There was another curator (Kevin Rose?) who had a Jawbone Up in his December box. I don’t know if Arriana went with them because Quarterly already had the contact and Jawbone is trying to promote their new product or if it’s because the name fit with her “Look Up” theme.

Thanks for mentioning the reviews about Jawbone… I was tempted to subscribe since the yoga and jawbone were calling my name. Didn’t occur to me looking for the reviews of the jawbone. I did look for the ones of the DVD since Liz kindly included the link, not sure why I assumed the jawbone was a great product.

Liz, thank you for sharing spoilers with us (and to Janet)! I would not have subscribed without the full spoilers due to the cost of this box. Looks like a great curation this month! Thanks!!

This box sounds well-curated and I like the idea very much. But it’s not for me, at least not at this time. I have a Fitbit One that I use every day (and that I get points from my health insurance company for using) so I don’t need another fitness tracker.
Also, I don’t have a smartphone so I wouldn’t have much use for the bracelet. However, I might like to have a whole stack of bracelets like that to hand out to my coworkers and people I see in stores — and people DRIVING in cars around me, never mind that it’s illegal to text and drive in this state — who seem surgically attached to their phones.
The saying changed to something else. I don’t recall now, but checked it out when I first saw the spoilers.

Since the article specifically mentions Cat Greenleaf, I’d say it’s likely. I personally find it a little preachy and wouldn’t wear it, and would prefer jewelry that isn’t left over from 2011, but I am SO HAPPY with the rest of the box that I am willing to give this to my kids and go do some yoga.

I literally JUST subscribed to this about 3 hours ago before seeing these spoilers here and I’m pretty excited! I wished I had jumped on the first box but didn’t, so I’m glad to have snagged this one.

I find it interesting that both the bracelet and pillowcase are noted as “customized.” But I agree – I really hope both aren’t super cheesy.
I am a new yoga convert and am so looking forward to the Yoga Warrior 365 set! I already have a FitBit so the Jawbone Up is just icing on the cake 🙂

I love the idea and items for this box. To me, her last box was just a bunch of random stuff. This one seems to be more in touch with what she sets forth in Thrive. Since my Yoga studio just closed, I am looking forward to the DVD set. I do hope this bracelet is nice and not just a plastic/rubbery band. Also hope that the pillowcase is nice and not just a polyester pillow case with an iron on patch. Hopefully it is silk. Her first box had a silk eyemask so it would be nice to have a silk pillow case.

I agree that this one feels much more connected to the first box (which I loved). I share your hopes for the materials on the pillow case and bracelet! 🙂
