DO NOT JOIN!! Worst experience ever! I will say they have great customer service but that can only get you so far. I joined in Early July, and was told by mid July I would receive my first box, I was charged almost right away, three weeks into July no box, I contacted them, again very nice service was told its being processed and I will receive and email within a few days with my tracking #, waited 3 business days and no email, contacted them again and was told the same thing….. I said that I sure hope that I do not get charged for a second month before I even get my first box, they said there was a delay in the system ordering but assured it was on the way….. Now I am well into August and the 17th is approaching (the next auto charge for my next month) and still no box. I ask again and was told the same thing, when informing them I have been told this more than once all they said was, someone would be contacting me with my tracking # soon, I waited till the 15th and no box so I emailed to cancel everything. I was told they where sorry to see me go and I was canceled and someone will be contacting me within 2 business days advising me of my first order and request for a full refund. I wanted 7 days no contact… I reached out and was told again someone will contact me…. another 5 days went by… I emailed again and was finally contacted being told sorry but my order was processed and my “box” was already being processed and I would receive an email with my tracking #, At this point I gave up and gave it one more week before I was going to contact my CC company to dispute the charge however like magic in three days I received an email with my tracking # and waiting one more week now end of Aug. I get my first “box” I opened it and threw it across the room NO joke it was, sweat “shorts” (like work out shorts) and a light weight sweat shirt!!!! Thankful to them I have not been charged a 2nd month and i was officially canceled but I would never recommend this company to anyone!!!

Got 2 ugly t-shirts and a pair of socks. How is that trendy?
Tried to return it and found out that you can only return 1 item plus it has to be done within 7 days..

This company is a joke. They handle handle the volume of business and keep promising to ship without it ever happening. I’ve waited 45 days for a return item and new box. Keep telling me “next week”. Great idea, poor execution.

So, I received my box in early February, and I didn’t like what I received. I e-mailed TB 3-4 times before I got a reply, giving me a return label. I asked for an exchange. They received my box on 2/9, and didn’t respond to me for a few days. Again, I had to e-mail a few times. I was told my replacement would be sent out with the next batch of shipments. Two weeks ago, I got an e-mail (three weeks after they received my return) telling me I shipped them an empty box, with the contents of my shipment missing. I told them this wasn’t true and that I did ship my return, and I haven’t received a response to my three e-mails in two weeks now. I also sent Facebook messages, and they keep saying they’ll ship my box, but nothing yet. I’m still waiting and hoping they’ll make this right.

My son got his box on February 28 after contacting Gilt City and requesting a refund. We signed up for the box on January 13. Although my son liked the two shirts he received, a long sleeve casual dress shirt and a t shirt – both from Standard Issue NYC. I did get an apology by email:
“We apologize for the delay. We are in the process of upgrading our system which will enable this process to be much faster for ur customers. In a few weeks there will also be an advanced account area launching that will enable you to track your box every step of the way. We’re here to help anytime and we’re excited to have you as a member.”
But the customer service from Trendy Butler was horrible and I doubt I will use the company again.

I wanted to post that I just received my box so for any others out there wondering what is going on, it just showed up. On a good note, the hubby really liked the 2 shirts they sent. 1 was a nice light weight tshirt black and white stripped with black sleeves. The other shirt was a quilted long sleeve in grey/black. Both were great quality and the fit was great and both were what I would call on tend/stylish. We were both very happy with what they sent us. My only issue was the lack of communication upon placing my order and the multiple times of following up on my requests for status.

Wow, they still have not bothered to respond to me. I have asked to Gilt to get involved with their vendor management at this point and they responded immediately and are investigating it. I just don’t understand companies that don’t care about customers, especially new ones. Companies like Gilt and Living Social make money promoting companies and I would presume they don’t want to be associated with companies that don’t meet their service standards either or it just hurts them to behave in this manner.

I’ve not received anything no tracking or box yet. This was purchased for a gift I don’t get why I can’t seem to get a response, makes me think twice now on ordering

This is an awful service. My box was ridiculous; all I got was one silly looking sweatshirt/jacket that I’d never wear. The customer service is terrible. I sent five e-mails asking where my box was and I never got a response. My box arrived three weeks later. Now I’ve sent two e-mails in the last three days asking to exchange my box and am not getting a response. This company is a joke.

I get the fact they are busy but not to respond to emails for weeks on end to their customers is bad customer service. I still don’t have a box nor any responses. I will contact Gilt for my money back within a few days at this point.

OMG, my husband got his box today and it was gorgeous! My teenage son was fighting him over it. Now I have to subscribe monthly for both of them. I used the Gilt City offer originally.,

I have not and I’m having a hard time getting a confirmation. I’ve reached out to gilt city for help. This looks like a great box for the hubby but I wish they would respond.

I spoke to the guys at trendy butler 2 days ago. He said they had a lot of Gilt city orders come through and were back up 4-5 days. So they should be going out soon.

I just placed my order with the voucher with no problems. They didn’t ask for a credit card on top of it which is nice so you can try out the service before making a commitment. I hope the hubby likes it for his upcoming bday!

I’m so confused. I ordered the deal and got the email with the voucher code. I clicked on the link and made my preference selections. At the end it asked you to sign in but said that email already exists, duh, I’m signing in. I exited it out and now when I click the voucher link it just takes me to a video about the box. Anybody have any advice? I’m not sure if I redeemed it or not.
