My husband decided to buy me this as a gift. We are too late. The dark chocolate s sold out ๐Ÿ™ Milk chocolate is almost sold out. I am skipping it because I really want dark chocolate.

I’ve been trying to purchase for 2 days with no luck on either the milk or the dark! They just posted it on their facebook yesterday and told me it wasn’t sold out, yet, I am unable to add to my cart? Anyone else having this issue?

I used the JANFREESHIP code for the Best of 2014 box, my order went through just fine and then when it came time for the box to ship this week — the Treatsie team contacted me and said there was a bug in their software (the coupon should not have been allowed) and I’d either have to pay the extra $ money that the coupon deducted or cancel my order. I canceled the order. Poor customer service — why should I have to pay for a bug in their code after my order was accepted and paid for (my credit card was charged already). I’ve ordered so much from them in the past – very disappointing. I hope others had better luck and got their boxes at the price they ordered them at!

I ordered the mystery box they offered in October and it was AMAZING. it was packed full of goodies, my only complaint was that it was super heavy on the dark chocolate, so I love that I can (and did :P) pick milk this time. Also, their description doesn’t specify that it is just chocolate, if its anything like the last one it should have lots of other goodies too (cookies, taffy, caramels). I also used the code janfreeship and they gave me $5 off – shipping is $5.95, so its not quite free shipping, but I’ll take it!

Thanks for posting about the previous box. Can you remember any other details/specifics?

sort of? ha! it had a bunch of different kinds of little chocolates, like 1 or 2 bites each with all different flavors/mixed in bits from many different brands, it had salty road taffy, caramels, a jar of caramel sauce, and 3 boxes of cookies. I really think it had more, but I just cant remember what it was. I know I was shocked by the sheer quantity of things. I hope this one is as good!

I’m glad they divided the boxes for the milk vs. dark lovers. That’s the only way I’d consider this box (and one of the main reasons I do not subscribe to this monthly box).

I was considering it but then I realized it’s the best of 2014. Presumably some of these items could go back to January of ’14–no thanks. Also, although I am a chocoholic and barely hesitate to buy a nice bar of chocolate, my rational side is telling me I just do not need to spend $50 on chocolate right now.

Thank heavens rational thinking popped up; otherwise I don’t think I could resist $80 worth of dark chocolate.
