Square Hue Nail Polish Subscription Box Review – Jan 2015 Pink

Square Hue Polish in Gibson Girl 1900

Square Hue Polish in First Flight 1903

These shades are both high-gloss cremes. I think pinks and neutrals/greys are probably the nail polish colors I wear the most, so I'm very happy with these selections.

This shade is listed as a high gloss creme, but it also has a little shimmer to it.

Here is the swatch card for the shades:

They all have a lot of coverage with just one layer.

Verdict: I think Square Hue does a great job of sending on-trend colors each month with a really good nail polish formula. I also like that they pick a new theme each year. (Last year was the passport collection - every month was a different destination. This year every box is a different decade).

What do you think of the January 2014 Square Hue box?

I saw that someone had this month’s whole set available to swap.

I’m a nail polish addict, but I don’t particularly care for these colors. I don’t go fro cremes, though. I’m glad I didn’t start a sub (yet).

On a completely unrelated note, I simply don’t know where else to post this – I’m feeling frustrated because I’ve been using swap matchmaker and initiating swaps with people who show up on there as having something I want and I have something they want – they keep canceling the swaps. I can imagine that there are various reasons for this, but it’s still so frustrating when I have something they supposedly want. I can’t imagine how some people have 100s of swaps under their belt when I can’t get anyone to swap with me. 🙁

What are you trying to swap? If it is something from a really popular sub box, popsugar for example, I sometimes find these things harder to swap since so many people have these items already and seem to be pickier about these swaps in my experience.

Don’t give up! 🙂

The pink and gray go well together for a French manicure-type look.

The colors are gorgeous. I think I am receiving one of their nail polishes in a different sub this month. I can’t wait to try it.

I got one of their nail polishes in goodebox this month. Color was purple – what shade I can’t remember.
