GlossyBox January 2015 Spoiler #2 & $100 GWP Offer

Neither of those items are really appealing to me, but I love being able to try things I wouldn’t have otherwise tried. I wish they carried better products though. It seems like some of them are just that cheap garbage you can get in the grocery stores full of bad ingredients.

GWP issue – I subscribed to GlossyBox in November 2014 when they came to Canada. I was reluctant after reading about how GlossyBox Canada had shut down. They offered a promotion for a $38 value Alex and Ani bracelet. It did not come and when I contacted them they no longer had any in stock. They offered me the same bracelet that US customers received free in their March 2014 boxes (a $28 value) which I was not too happy about. It was the bracelet or pick from a list of about 27 items (sizes not listed) so not wanted to take the chance it would be a sample size and nowhere near a $38 value I took the bracelet and will gift it. I have received 2 boxes out of my 3 month subscription, although I have been happy overall with the products in the 2 boxes I am unsure at this time if I will continue my subscription.

I just received my shipping confirmation. YAYYY!!! I think it’s going to be a great box. 😀

I’ve actually never had an issue with Glossybox. In fact I took advantage of the free Boscia BB GWP back in September and when my box arrived it didn’t come. I was bummed, but before I could contact them they contacted me saying they made a mistake not including the GWP and that to make up for it they were sending me my GWP plus an additional September box. Even better the second box had slightly different items so it wasn’t all a complete duplicate. I’ve also always gotten shipping updates and it’s always shipped on time for me. Maybe I’m lucky, but I’ve been pretty happy with them. Especially since they tend to do higher end items than some of the other boxes.

The link posted earlier in the comments, has a sign that says “5 Full Size Treats”. That’s awesome! I too was about to buy toner, so this is great timing. We don’t see that enough.

I guess step three will be a moisturizer but I sure wish it would be a luxe facial oil.

My sister still hasn’t received her glossy box I ordered for her in December and they don’t send any order updates. French box doesn’t either. PSMH monthly boxes are not luxe enough for me, but they have good customer service, so Im beginning to like them more now:-/

I had one issue after another last fall in getting GWPs from Glossy, along with many others. I signed up for a new 3 month sub in Sep (knowing I’d get a second Sep box since I was already a current subscriber) to get the Boscia BB cream GWP. A month later I received my Sep box and no Boscia. I emailed but they never replied but they did send an email to all subscribers saying there had been a mistake in shipping and they would send all who subbed for the GWP the Boscia and to make up for the hassle, would send (wait for it…) another free Sep box. Fast forward another month and I received A Boscia product but not the one advertised) and no free Sep box (which I had promised to a friend). I received the box in Nov. So it was a string of issues to get the free gift. I only had that kind of problem once before (I’ve been subbed for 15 months), with an Alex & Ani bracelet GWP that also wasn’t sent as promised but they sent it the following week. My overall experience is Glossy curates some great, high end boxes and have a lot of good coupon codes for discounted subscriptions. Unless you don’t mind having to make an effort to get a GWP, I recommend subbing using discount codes versus GWP offers.

As for this GWP, they’re all items from the last 6 months and none that I particularly want again, except the GlamGlow. I have several of those samples as backups so I’ll be passing on this deal and holding out for a discounted 3 or 6 month sub price. I don’t think I’ve ever paid full price for a box to date. With the codes it’s usually $15-$16/month.

Does anyone know if you can redeem the ruelala offer and this offer together?

I like toners, but I have so many cleansers (from your 1st spoiler) from other subscription boxes that I end up giving them away. I wish Glossybox could put something different each month instead of the same old-same old.

Ditto on the toner comments! I had to *gasp* buy one at the store. That is unacceptable given the number of makeup-y/skincare boxes I subscribe to!

I hope its alcohol free! My skin is so dry with this cold weather that a toner with alcohol wouldn’t be of any use to me. Fingers crossed!! 🙂

I agree we need more toners! I’ve been using a toner from Memebox, would like to get another. I was going to resist this deal but I’m cracking 🙁 December’s box was amazing.

I LOVE it – we never get toners! It is like the one thing I always have to buy myself.
