Eva Scrivo Quarterly Subscription Box Review – #EVA02 Box

Eva Scrivo is a makeup and hairstyling professional, and her Quarterly box focuses on beauty inside and out. Unfortunately I recently received an email letting subscribers know that her subscription has ended, so this will be the last review for this subscription.

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Eva Scrivo Quarterly Subscription Box Review – #EVA02 Letter

Each Quarterly box comes with a letter from the curator detailing all the items included and why they were selected. This box is all about proper skin and haircare in the winter months.

Eva Scrivo Quarterly Subscription Box Review – #EVA02 Phyto

PHYTOBASIX Dermal Detox PreCleanse - FULL SIZE! Value $39

YONKA Paris Age Defense Creme 28 - FULL SIZE! Value $59

Eva emphasized in her letter how important it is to fully remove oil-based makeup with an oil cleaner before using a cream cleanser. This one smells lovely and I love that it is free of parabens, phthalates, and all synthetic ingredients.

The YONKA Age Defense cream is also paraben free. It has an almost pearlescent finish and gives my skin a slightly luminous look - so far I'm a big fan.

Eva Scrivo Quarterly Subscription Box Review – #EVA02 Sponge

Sea Sponges - Value $2?

Goldwell Elixir - FULL SIZE! Value $23

Eva included these sponges to go along with the face cleansing routine.

This Goldwell Elixir is supposed to help you achieve a smoother blowout and control frizz when applied to wet hair. I just tried it out on my damp hair and it absorbed easily and I like the scent.

Eva Scrivo Quarterly Subscription Box Review – #EVA02 Mask

PHYTOACTIVE Nourishing Algae Cleanser - 1 oz Value $7.50

Leonor Greyl Conditioning Mask -  Travel Size Value $17

I'm excited to try both of these products. The algae cleanser follows the PreCleanse oil in Eva's recommended face cleaning routine.

And this haircare line from France is made with lots of natural ingredients, and gets great reviews. You can use it as a everyday conditioner or a treatment mask by leaving it on longer.

Eva Scrivo Quarterly Subscription Box Review – #EVA02 Lipstick

L'Huile De Leonor Grey - 25 ml Value $15

FACE Stockholm Lipstick Matte in Matte Rouge - FULL SIZE! Value $22

This hair oil can be used as a pre-shampoo treatment or as a hair oil. Mine is more of a solid than an oil (likely due to the fact that coconut oil is the first ingredient), so I had to use a q-tip to get product out of the container. I tried out a very small amount on wet hair and it added a little moisture without any greasy look.

And since the box was delivered around the holidays, Eva included this matte red lipstick for a glamours holiday party look.

Eva Scrivo Quarterly Subscription Box Review – #EVA02 Cards

The box also came with cards including beauty tips and recipes:

Verdict: This box has a value of about $185.50. (Possibly more if I underestimated on the value of the sea sponges). I think the value is really good, and after reading Eva's letter, I can't wait to try every single one of these products - you can definitely tell a lot of thought went into product selection with this box.

It's disappointing this subscription won't be continuing - I would have loved to see what would have been in the Spring box! What did you think of #EVA02?

This box is on the best of Quarterly. I love all the products and am seriously thinking of picking up a second box.

How much do boxes usually cost on Best of Quarterly? This $100 box is on Rue La La right now for $65 and I’m thinking of buying! 🙂

I’m disappointed that Eva’s box is cancelled. I love both boxes and all the extras such as the tip sheets. I am able to use everything in this box which is a rarity for me. I used everything from the first box except for the volume powder and brush because my hair is capable of volume on its own. I did keep them because they are nice products and there may be a time when I need them. You never know.

Liz – I moved the L’Huile de Leonor Greyl to the warmest room and it came out a lot easier. I used a q-tip in the beginning too. Once it was in the warmest room of the house I was able to squeeze it out. There must be something in there to help the coconut change into a liquid because it was more of a liquid texture when it was in my hands.

I already used up the L’Huile de Leonor Greyl and the conditioning mask. I’m using everything else. I’m sad the box is cancelled. 🙁 I’m going to miss the products and tip sheets.

I received EVA02 in dec 24. I love everything in the box and was very sad when I got the email from quarterly. The algae cleanser is spectacular! I loved Eva’s insight, the How To’s and the quality of the products. Also, the products were finds for me! (in both boxes actually). For me is worst since I can’t find sunshine botanicals; leonor greyl and the armour lipgloss from
First box (which is my all time favorite) to ship to PR. (Maybe if I call to Eva’s Salon they will ship it) I don’t think there is a similar to this one. Quarterly is working with a RJ NY Beauty but I belive its more focused on makeup. So at the moment I will be saving $100.00 quarterly.
