Bluum Subscription Box Review & 50% Off Coupon – Jan 2015 Box

Bluum is a monthly subscription box for babies and toddlers. Their boxes are super customized – specific to the month of your child’s age! The box I’m reviewing is for a 25 month old.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Bluum Subscription Box Review & 50% Off Coupon – Jan 2015 Little Rabbit

Little Rabbit Waits For The Moon Board Book - Value $8

The Adventurers Board Book - Value $5

Whenever I'm asked about the difference between Bluum and Citrus Lane, I always say that in my experience Bluum tends to send far more books. This month they really sent a lot of books!

Bluum Subscription Box Review & 50% Off Coupon – Jan 2015 Books

Cleo in the Snow - Value $6

Dot and Dash Lots of Love -  Value $5

Verdict: I'm a little surprised that 4 out of the 6 items in this box are books. Fortunately for me I use this subscription for gifts, and books are always great gifts, so it is not that big of a deal. I would imagine most subscribers would want more variety though. Also, this is one of the lower value Bluum boxes I've received - it has a value of about $31. I'm hoping the February box has a higher value and a much better variety of items.

What did you get from Bluum this month?

I didn’t hate bluum when I subscribed but always kind of felt like they were sending items from a bargain bin…it was just always so random.

I received 4 books, a door stop and a travel size body butter. I’m thinking about canceling after my year is up if my boxes don’t get better.

Wow, what a disappointment!! If I get that box, I am going to be so upset! I am signed up for a 27 month old, and the last thing I need is a cup and plate! I have five kids! We have plenty of dishes and books. I was hoping the box would contain things that would be exciting for my little one! This would not excite her at all!! I will cancel immediately if they actually sent me toddler dishes and books as the entire box. SAD!

That’s pretty much what they always send, haha.

Great! Why would anyone subscribe then? I thought it looked pretty good from some of the reviews on here, but definitely not the latest one!
