BirdieBox Golf Subscription Box Review - November 2014 Box

BirdieBox is a custom golf subscription box for men and women. They send you a variety of golf related items (some sized), and the retail value is guaranteed to be at least $100.

I'm not a golfer, but my mom has been taking it up recently, so I was excited to get this box to review and share it with her.

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

BirdieBox Golf Subscription Box Review - November 2014 Items

The Subscription Box: BirdieBox

The Cost: $49.95 + $4.95 shipping

The Products: Golf, lifestyle, and nutritional products, including the latest issue of Golf Digest.

Ships to: US

BirdieBox Golf Subscription Box Review - November 2014 Vest

Adidas Vest - Value $60

I couldn't find this exact vest on the Adidas site, so I'm estimating the value based on similar vests. (This is one item that I gladly would have kept for myself if my mom didn't want it!)

BirdieBox Golf Subscription Box Review - November 2014 Hat

TaylorMade Hat - Value $25

This is another item I couldn't find the exact version of, but almost every TaylorMade hat on their site is $25 or more, so I think that's a fair estimate. Most of the other hats have more color, and I think this was a great fit for my mom - very subtle and classy!

BirdieBox Golf Subscription Box Review - November 2014 Glove

Glove It Ladies Left - Value $20

AloeUp SPF 30 + Lip Balm Set - Value $4

BirdieBox has a profile section similar to Birchbox where you can update your settings to get sized and custom items. (My mom is left handed, so I especially liked that customization for the glove).

I also like that the sunscreen and lip balm set comes on a mini carabiner clip - perfect for attaching to your golf bag!

BirdieBox Golf Subscription Box Review - November 2014 Golf Digest

Gold Digest - Value $4

Each subscription box will come with the latest version of this magazine.

Verdict: This box has a retail value of a little over $110. I think that's pretty great for the price, and I especially appreciate that nothing in this box feels like a filler item. I may even end up buying my mom a subscription!

What do you think of BirdieBox? Have you tried it?

Have you tried the Bogeybox yet? I ordered it for my husband and he enjoys it. However the customer service is ZERO and trying to get an answer from them on social media or through email is non-existent. So yeah, who knows if they will have more boxes. I’m curious because I have prepaid for one year of boxes but have only received 2. =(

I love this site, but I really need to stay off of it for the sake of my checkbook! I ordered my husband 3 months of this along with 3 months of Sports Crate

Can you get a reader review of BirdieBox for men? That would be helpful for some people I’m sure.

This is perfect for my dad! I got him the Golf Crate box for his birthday but had soooo many issues with the company that he didn’t end up getting till 2 months later! I hope this one will be better. Thanks Liz!

Hate to break it to you, but if your mom plays golf left handed, that’s the wrong glove. Just something to consider if you get the box again. =]

Oh – well there you have it – a review by a non-golfer! Whoops! 🙂

I would LOVE to be able to get this subscription box in Canada. It is very difficult to find unique golf things here. The vest is great – and wouldn’t have to be for golf only.

Loved the items in this box, especially since women golfers are very underserved in the subscription arena. Do they have any coupons available to try it out?
