Birchbox is one of the original beauty subscription boxes, and one of my personal favorites. (I’ve discovered so many new brands through this subscription, and their rewards program is the best!)
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription Box: Birchbox
The Cost: $10 a month (get one month free and $10 to spend in the shop with an annual subscription!)

Each box comes with a card detailing the items included and some tips on how to use them. (Birchbox offers an option for subscribers to pick one of their samples each month, or to select a pre-curated box, and this month I decided to go with the Relax & Recharge box).
When Travel Sheet Mask - Value $7
This mask gets good reviews on Birchbox, so I'm excited to try it. (Plus I love fun/cute packaging!)
Manna Kadar Lip Locked Priming Gloss Stain in All of Me - .01 oz Value $1.40
Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Mask - 1 oz Value $4.95
I like this Manna Kadar Lip Locked product a lot - it's both a stain and a gloss, which gets rid of the drying effect lots of lip stains can have. And this color is very wearable for me!
I've sampled this deep conditioning mask before, and while I didn't notice any major improvements in my hair, I like it as a regular conditioner.
Balance Me Extra Care Wonder Eye Cream - 7 ml Value $19
Perlier Intensive Nurturing Body Balm with Lavender Extract - 1 oz Value $4.25
This Balance Me eye cream is the main reason I picked the Relax & Recharge box this month - the sample is half the size of the full size version - it should last me a month! I also love that it is 99% natural - I've been using it for the past day now, and it has been great for my sensitive skin.
This nurturing body balm is very moisturizing and absorbs quickly, but I'm not a huge fan of the scent. (I love lavender, but this is more of a mix of lavender and a powdery perfume type of scent).
Teapics Tea in Chamomile Flowers and Liquorice and Peppermint - Value $1.33
These tea bags were listed on the card as a bonus item. I drink tea all day everyday, so I always like getting new brands to try in subscription boxes. I love that this brand only uses natural ingredients. So far I tried the licorice flavor - and it was way too sweet for me. I'm thinking the Chamomile will better fit my tastes.
Verdict: This box has a value of about $38 - which is wonderful! I'll use everything besides the body butter, so the value for me personally is there as well - I'm really glad I went with this box!
