Yogi Surprise is a new yoga lifestyle inspired subscription box, and they released their first limited edition box for the holidays - so I had to buy one! (FYI - this box is sold out).
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Box: Yogi Surprise Holiday Box (no longer available for sale)
The Cost: $44.95
The Products: Yogi inspired treats, bath and body items, and accessories.
Like the regular Yogi Surprise box, this box came with a card detailing each of the items included.
Young Oasis Soy Massage Candle - Value $13
My candle is unscented, but I can't tell from the info card if there will be variation, so some subscribers may get scented versions. They recommend lighting the candle for 5-10 minutes, then extinguish the flame and use the wax mixture as a balm for hands, cuticles, etc.
Wild Carrot Herbals Sore Muscle Salvation - .5 oz Value $6
I love the scent of this balm! It's somewhat sweet and a little minty!
Infinity Strap - Value $20
This was the spoiler item for the box, and I am happy to see a yoga specific item in this box. It gets great reviews, and it really is a well-made products. The black threads on the band are made with some type of rubber material to prevent slipping. (Now I think I need to buy the Infinity Strap DVD to get the most out it!)
Lovely Candy Co. Chewy Original Caramels - Value $2
All Good Provisions Organic High Antioxidant Trail Mix - Value $4
These caramels have dairy in them, so I couldn't try them, but I've tried other vegan and gluten free treats from the Lovely Candy Co. thanks to Love with Food, and I'm a fan! (It's hard not to be a fan of candy!)
The trail mix is great - it's the perfect mix of salty and sweet for me.
St. Claire's Organic Throat Soothers - Value $4
Metolius Tea & Apothecary Cardamom Rose Mate Tea - Value $10
This tea is made with mate, cardamom, rose petals, cinnamon and pink peppercorn. It's a unique blend for me, and I'm excited to try it. And fingers crossed I don't get sick this winter, but I will keep these throat soothers in case I need them!
Verdict: This box has a value of about $60. I paid $44.95, so it's a pretty good value, but I think I was expecting it to feel a little more different and special than the regular Yogi Surprise subscription box. Fortunately I really like the regular Yogi Surprise subscription box, so for me that's not that big of a deal. So far my favorite product in this box is the muscle rub, but I think the Infinity Strap may end up being one of my all time favorites once I start using it.
What do you think of the Yogi Surprise Holiday Box? Was it what you were expecting?
