Kika Clothing December Faves Bags

kika clothing is an eco-friendly Made-in-LA line of women's clothing that focuses on super soft fabrics in flattering cuts. I recently found out they offer a mystery Faves bag, which is very similar to Golden Tote. You pick out the Faves bag with one item you are interested in, and they surprise you with 4-5 more pieces for $149.

They reached out to me to try the clothing, and I actually got to pick out two pieces to be featured in the kika faves bags this month.

The first piece I fell in love with is this Yevi Sweatshirt in Bordeaux:

This sweatshirt retails for $98 on its own, and I can confirm that it is the softest sweatshirt I have ever worn in my life. I also love the color, and find the fit to be very flattering.

The other piece I picked is the Heidi Cardigan in Midnight:

This piece retails for $124, and is also extremely comfortable - and it has roomy pockets!

So, if you are interested in either of these items, here's how the kika Faves Bag works:

1) Pick out the Faves Bag with the item you want. This item is guaranteed in your box, and the other items will be surprises.

2) Pick your size and add the faves bag to your cart. (For reference I'm usually a large or medium in Golden Tote, and went with a kika size 2 and everything fit great).

3) When you are checking out, make sure to leave the kika stylists a message in the comments section with fit, style, and color preferences.

4) And order by the 17th if you'd like to get a delivery by 12/25!

FYI:

Shipping is a flat rate $6.95

Returns are accepted but you have to send back the entire box.

I ordered the $149 bag and was impressed by the softness and quality and the fact that they sent me only items I specifically requested. I only got 4 total items, but still thought it was a good deal. Unfortunately I just didn’t feel like the style was what I was looking for when I tried the clothes on. I have sent multiple emails in an attempt to get return instructions with no reply. Also left a VM message. Anyone else had better luck with returns?

Kari – I was able to contact them no problem to get the return instructions. However they have now had my return for over two weeks with no communication and no refund. I emailed twice and called with no response. Finally about 30 minutes ago I posted to their FB page and emailed them through the contact us page on their website and just received an answer. They are now looking into it. Hope this helps.

Update – I was finally able to get in touch with someone and have been told my refund was processes.

Kari I was able to get someone to provide me with return authorization, however my items have now been back with them for over two weeks and I have received no refund. I also tried calling the return phone number at 3pm their time and was told it was not business hours. I have emailed twice with no response as well. I think I am now out the clothes and the money which is very disappointing.

Liz are you somehow affiliated with this company? Because I keep getting emails from them that dresses are currently 35% off and they show as coming from you. The email is listed as Liz Cadman.

I’m sorry to hear about this and I don’t know why emails are coming from me for Kika – I definitely was not aware of that. I’ll reach out to them now and try to get both items sorted out. I’ll email you as soon as I get info.

I love all of my Kika clothes. They fit great and you can’t beat the quality. I’ve washed and dried my stuff multiple times and they all look brand new! I love how everything feels. I have really sensitive skin, so I’m very picky about what fabrics I wear. My Kika clothes are soo cozy. I attend a lot of conferences, so it’s nice to be able to be comfortable, but still look professional.

For those that are interested I got my order today. I ordered the Heidi above and got a total of five pieces. In addition to my chosen I recieved a pair of leggings (color not available on website), a sweatshirt (color also not available on website) and another sweatshirt and tunic both from the sale section. The clothes were a super nice quality and I think the value was there. Unfortunately for me nothing fit perfect or just blew me away so I think it will be going back. But I think I will try again, since everything was so soft and pretty.

Kim while that is lovely I am for sure now having a hard time believing it as my return has been with you for over two weeks and I have received no refund. Your phone number is not answered and neither are my emails. Now I have no clothes and no money.

I’m definitely interested, especially in that cardigan. The colors looks rich and beautiful. My concern it that the small bag says 2-3 items (same as GT) but it’s $79 where GT is $49. With GT u pretty much only get 2 items, which is fine for $49. But I wonder if u would really get 2 or 3 for the $79 bag. The Cardi I want is Only in the $149 bag though so I might have to spring for that one and not worry about the small one. Waiting to see what some of the surprise items look like!

I may have to try this. I can’t do Golden Tote because their size large is too small for me and they don’t have an XL. But Kika has my size!

I broke down and ordered. I have not been loving the quality of GT’s clothes as much lately, though I still buy the pieces I love from the trading group. So I thought why not try? I got the Heidi in the midnight purple! So excited to see what it is like!

Can anyone provide more information around sizing? In looked at their charts, but their size 6 (16/18?) measurements seem more like an 18/20. I want to make sure things will fit correctly before I spend that kind of money and/or fall for some of these items…

I am so excited about this. I love kika. I own many pieces and they are my “go-to” pieces for every day…so soft, comfortable & stylish. The quality is amazing…they go right in the washer/dryer and come out perfect every time.
