I think they included a good mix of cards in the package - some silly, some super useful (birthday), and some that are a good reminder for me to send cards to friends and family!

Sticket Set (2)

These stickers are perfect to seal the envelopes on the cards, and the tags seem like a perfect fit for the A Beautiful Mess DIY audience.

A Beautiful Mess Happy Mail Subscription Review - Nov 2014 Goals

This Book Belongs To: Stickers

Today's Goals Notepad

I've been using the goals notepad since I got this package. It's super simple but helpful to have that title reminder on the top of the page everyday!

A Beautiful Mess Happy Mail Subscription Review - Nov 2014 Right Here

Adventure is Right HERE Print

I hope they continue to include prints in every package! This one is made on a thick card stock paper and measures 8 X 10 - perfect for framing.

Verdict: I'm really impressed with the first Happy Mail! I paid $15 for this package (with the annual subscription), so this box basically breaks down to $1 an item - definitely worth it to me.

What do you think of the first Happy Mail package?

I am happy with it. I love sending snail mail! I also love receiving it, but I guess my friends are just not that into it 😉
I have Olive box, but I think it is way too expensive for what it is. I have learnt to stay away from New York based subs, since they tend to have items that are so not worth it, but so called fashionable brands. I would never pay 5 dollars for a sheet of wrapping paper! And I come from Paris, not exactly the cheapest city on earth 🙂
Anyway…Even if Happy Mail doesn’t have the quality of PennyPost ( so cute) or Hello Lucky ( in my wish list…) they are cute everyday cards ( exept for the Spank one, I find it rather rude..)
If anyone knows about other stationary sub, please tell me!

This is so cute! But I feel like I wouldn’t need a whole years worth of cards. Maybe I’ll still sign up though when my Julep is up.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this subscription! Glad I took the plunge and did the full year commitment. This wouldn’t be for everyone, but I really enjoy sending mail to people. My husband jokes that I personally keep the mail service running.

Wow, this is a great variety and I like the items, I am tempted….

I’m delighted with this bundle of fun and glad I subscribed. Excited to see what’s in the next lot.
Some of my cards, and the art print, had little dings in them though. I hope they rethink the packaging soon.

Sorry but the items are just ok. All the stationary/card subs are the same style. Too simple and plain for my taste. They also look like something you would find in the 99 cent section. I am looking for more whimsical and/or elegant styles.

Not to throw shade here, but I feel like the type of people who send actual cards and stationary aren’t always the type of people who say ‘Spank You Very Much.’ That’s not to say there aren’t other lovely things in the box – the Daily Goals notepad is perfect, seriously – but that card feels like a misfire.
My two cents. I’m sure some folks love it.

PersonWhoSendsCards

It has nothing to do with the “type of person” that’s giving, but the person that’s receiving it 🙂

I don’t have occasion to send cards often enough to justify getting this. However, this seems to have a higher value than most of the competing subs (or at least it feels like you get a lot more for what you pay). And it is nice to see some cards that are not the same ones I see at Target year after year.

I’m not normally an A Beautiful Mess fan. I don’t follow their blog and I honestly don’t understand the hype (BlogLovin keeps suggesting I follow them). However, I actually love this box. I’m not a subscriber yet, but this may have to go on my wishlist. They had me at the Today’s Goals notepad.

I’m glad I subscribed to this, I loved everything in the envelope! Good value and most of it will get used for sure. (I have been using the goals notepad every day since I got it, too!)
