FYI – Fancy Boxes are Ending – Make Sure to Check Your Account!

I had dropped all of my Fancy subs a while back since they were all essentially the same thing just rebranded with a different curator name. Everything was overlap/duplicates, in all four boxes I subbed to at one time. Honestly, I’m surprised they lasted as long as they did. Had they stuck with just the original box I think they’d still be in business. They tried to diversify but did so in name only.

As soon as a company stops including info cards that used to do so and starts throwing random things in a box, you know the countdown clock is ticking….

I have been a subscriber of the original Fancy box from the beginning. The last two boxes have all been filled with items I had gotten before, and I suspected they were emptying their warehouse, it turned out I was right!

This actually makes a lot of sense. I received two Coco boxes after seeing all the awesome boxes that came before it in that subscription. The two boxes I received were 2 expensive boxes of crap! I cancelled immediately after. I’m not exactly surprised. Too bad, so much potential!

T-Pain box is done too. I’m so bummed. I get several boxes and really enjoyed them. Gonna miss the Culinary most of all

Maybe Nicky Hilton will move to Quarterly. I think she could put together a great Style box 3-4 times a year. I cancelled my Nicky Hilton box after receiving the December box. Nothing wrong with the items except it was Fancy clearance items and not what I pictured in a Nicky Hilton box. I even went back and forth with Fancy after the October box on whether Nicky Hilton and team were still involved. I am a little disappointed. I was hoping her box would improve after the clearance sale is over, not be cancelled.

So I ended up canceling the Rockettes box a few days ago so didn’t get an email saying the box had been canceled. Actually what reminded me to cancel was that I saw that there was a charge in progress on my bank account. As soon as I canceled, the charge zeroed out. I went to look on the website and all the boxes are still up for sale, including the Rockettes box.

Ohhh too bad… The food box looked so nice and scrumptious. I think it would have been more appealing if they sold the boxes for $45.00 with free shipping. Free shipping is really taked for granted and its just because of marketing, so companies should do a better research of how to present the “sub box” to their potencial and actual customers.

Yes I just got an email that the Fancy Food box was cancelling, but I already canceled it a week ago when I got my last box. It never seemed to be anything awesome and I ended up swapping nearly the entire box. The last Fancy Food box included the “F*** this”, “F*** that” adhesive labels that came in other Fancy boxes. They’re not food related at all and seemed really weird to be included.

That makes sense for how many sales they’ve been doing, too!

hmm been wanting to try a couple of these…guess I’m not going to now. oh well.

Just got an email today that the Coco Rocha box is ending too.

Thank you for posting this – I was just thinking about signing up for Fancy box 2 days ago. Instead decided to sign up for another quarterly box.

Thanks Liz! I recently came to a similar conclusion. I have already canceled my Culinary and Nicki Hilton boxes since the value didn’t seem to be there recently. Today I received an email that they were no longer doing the Fancy Food Box and it was being transferred to a Mystery Box, so I canceled that one too. A majority of the items I have received in the last few months have been being sold on the website for significant discounts. So they seem to be clearing stock.
