Beauty Box 5 December Box Update & Spoiler

Ok I’m super mad, I canceled my Beauty Box 5 in November as soon as I got the crappy box. I got emails about the delay in shipping and yesterday received a shipping email. I had canceled Nov. 12th, I responded and they said December is the last box I’m getting since I was charged. I don’t understand this BS since I canceled Nov 12th! Not even 1/2 way thru the month. Not happy at all about Beauty Box 5, will never resubscribe.

I have Birchbox (love the point system) ipsy, (okay points not the best but I get something each month)
Sample Society as of this month (high end, full sizes drawed me in. Boxycharm which sends over $100 value plus points and Blush beauty over $100 value. I also get the Target and Wal-Mart boxes and seasonal Fab Fit Fun… Future wish list is Glossy box and PSMH.

I had beauty box 5 and enjoyed it for 2 months but then the boxes went down, way down. My last box was probably Aug. I am glad that I cancelled. It’s a no brainer, it cost more, very rarely offers high ends and no point system or perks.

This does look better then the last three months but coastal scents is everywhere right now and I’ve seen Juice Beauty a few times recently in subs… Plus it’s sample sized. Boxycharm is sending the full size Coastal Scents and I received the sample wuad #2 in Birchbox a few months back.

They would really have to wow me to draw me in again! I think they are trying to make up there losses each month with lower quality since offering there free box.

I canceled my Birchbox, ipsy and Allure beauty boxes today, but am still on the fence with this one. I actually like Beauty Box 5. So I guess it’s just an individual thing. My new favorite is Goodebox. I’ve been quite happy with those so far.

I was wondering where my BB5 was, thanks for the heads up! It looks like my POPSUGAR box is going to be the first one to me this month – shocker! I hope I get the moisturizer and not the Coastal Scents quad. Those quads have been in every inexpensive beauty box (along with that Revlon mascara) and I don’t want any duplicates!

I hated last month, and didn’t like the month before so I canceled. Last month’s was a joke with the free Dove body wash, dollar flossers and laura ashley body creme that’s only sold in cheap sets. It was the final straw for me. The December spoilers look pretty awesome, but I’m sure the rest of the box will be disappointing as always.

Yup I think I’m canceling. I review boxes on my blog so I like to get this box because a lot of people ask about it since it is so cheap but yeah. This really isn’t good.

I have to admit, I gave Beauty Box 5 a two month trial before canceling my subscription. I know it’s pretty cheap, but I think other boxes at the same price point offer WAY better value. I mean, last month there was a travel sized Dove body wash and a bunch of other cheap crap, none of which I would use. I know the point of beauty box subscriptions is to introduce you to different brands, and I know BB5 does more drugstore brands than not and it’s no secret, but like… eh, I was NOT impressed.
