I received an email that the original palette sold out. My October box was delayed as well. BB added 100 points for my inconvenience. I did not receive my box until the 29th along with this new palette. The BB customer service representative was friendly and helpful with the delayed box. I do like the new palette colors, but wished I had original palette choice.

I did not have any issues with the bonus upgrade. My CR bonus arrived with my October box in a timely manner with nothing broken.

I never received my palette. I did get an email saying the original palette that was offered was sold out, so they’d send me her new palette instead. It’s been a few weeks, and I haven’t received it or any further communication from BB. We’ll see what happens I guess.

Wasn’t there some snafu with a previous Cynthia Rowley palette gift with purchase? As in, people didn’t get it?
I don’t remember — I didn’t go for the previous deal, just saw some discussion. Birchbox is super easy to cancel so I never worry about auto-renewing.
Anxiously awaiting my monthly BB arrival. If I get 6 items, I will have 704 points after reviewing. That and a good 20% off coupon and I can get the Vanity Affair set for like $8.

There was a delay in sending the Cynthia Rowley set but I eventually got it. Also, after a few days, they fixed the glitch that allowed people to get both the CR gift + the beauty blender gift. I got my order in before they made the change and they honored my order and even gave me great customer service and 100 BB Points when I reported a broken palette.
