Bluum Subscription Box Review & 50% Off Coupon – Nov 2014 Box

Bluum is a monthly subscription box for babies and toddlers. Their boxes are super customized – specific to the month of your child’s age! The box I’m reviewing is for a 25 month old.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

This Boogie Mist is a saline mist for stuffy noses that gets quite a few five star reviews on Amazon!

Clean It! by Georgie Birkett - Value $5

Doctor Illustrated by Jess Stockham - Value $5

Whenever I'm asked about the differences between Citrus Lane and Bluum - the first thing I think of is books. Bluum sends far more books than Citrus Lane - just FYI!

Bluum Subscription Box Review & 50% Off Coupon – Nov 2014 Vitamins

Smarty Pants Adult Complete + Fiber Multi + Omega 3 + Vitamin D Gummies - Retail Value $48 (On Amazon for $33)

I've tried Smarty Pants gummy samples thanks to subscription boxes - and I love them! I was really excited to see a full size bottle in this box considering how expensive they are - and I wondered if there was a catch!

It looks like they were able to get these in the box because they are expiring soon-ish:

Bluum Subscription Box Review & 50% Off Coupon – Nov 2014 Expiration

This bottle is only a 30-day supply, so I should have no problem finishing them before they expire, but I'm sure if I bought these directly from a retailer they would have a much longer shelf life! (And this is one of the better "mom" items I've received in a box - so I'm happy).

Verdict: This box has a value of about $57. I think the value is good, but it probably isn't great that over half of that value is from the mom item and not the total of the toddler items. What did you get from Bluum this month?

I am very concerned with Bluum. One of the items they sent to my daughter (a weather cream) was opened, it had a post-it on it with a number, and they sent it to me. They are crazy if they think I would use it on my child. I have lost interest in Bluum, I feel like the box is a roller coaster…one that I want to get off.

The vitamins that expire in 2-3 months is a little odd. I already have vitamins and probably wouldn’t finish those prior to expiration time. The child part of the box looks great (my daughter is 25 months and i have citrus lane now and also had bluum back when their boxes were terrible, ~a year ago, and books are always nice)

Thanks for reviewing the subscriptions for kids. I am always interested in what they contain, and am debating signing up soon. I really look forward to your thoughts on them!

For my little girl at 6 months I received, a beech- nut food jar, an eating silicone mat, a book, a handmade crochet rattle and a lion that plays music when the tail is pull.

I being liking Bluum better than CL and it seems the month I cancelled they gave out good stuff.
