Wantable Intimates is one of the subscriptions from Wantable, and it is probably my favorite box they offer. Like all Wantable subscriptions, you can heavily customize what they send you by filling out your preferences – and you still get to be surprised!

When you first sign up for any Wantable subscription you take a style quiz and you can get very specific about the items you want and don’t want. (This is the list of my loves, likes and dislikes from my invoice).
Rene Rofe Short PJ Set – Retail Value $42
I love getting pajama sets in these boxes, but I think I’m maxed out for now. I’ll probably update my quiz preferences for next month.

Wantable offers really great customization for socks and tights/leggings. For example, I was able to specify that I only want long socks and footless tight leggings. Both of these items are great for my try-to-stay-warm fall wardrobe plan!
Pj Drama Maxi Nightgown – Value $32
This is the first time I’ve received a maxi in an Intimates box!
I love maxis so this is perfect for me.
Verdict: This box has a retail value of about $106. I’ll use everything so I’m thrilled with my Wantable Intimates box this month. (This is almost always the case with me and Wantable Intimates).

I subscribed because of this review and I am mostly happy with my box. I picked the same exact things as Liz did and I ended up with the same Maxi (I love it), a gray soft bra (still have to try it), the 3-pack of Puma athletic socks (which I can use, but wasn’t really looking for in this sub), and a pair of kind of cool tights from Hue, which I hope fit and I am looking forward to trying. The biggest win for me was the maxi. I am concerned that they may not have cute stuff in large or my size, which is how I ended up with this stuff. I am willing to try it another month and change what I like. I wish I had cool/colorful socks, but I guess the athletic socks are ok.
I’m 5’7″ and weigh 172 lbs. which makes me an XL. Each month wantables sends out a box of totally cute items. The trick is to “love” items that you know will fit. This is a box that I look forward to every month.
I was thrilled to find that maxi in my box (my first one from wantable intimates). It looks great and feels better.
I also received a 3-pack of socks from Puma (retail $12), which is great for me because I needed socks in a bad way; a kace hipster panty that I’m not to sure about (retail $12); and a cute Fleur’t lace trim boyshort panty that’s quite comfortable (although I think they’re insane with the $35 retail tag).
All told, the Fleur’t panty was worth the price of the box, and the maxi was the item I was most thrilled about, although I can certainly use everything in it. Total retail value of $91, and I am thrilled! Excited to see the next one.
Is it your experience that Wantable exchanges items that they send out that are incorrectly sized? They sent me an absolutely unwearable shapewear cami, (even though I have camis disliked on my preferences, but they said shapewear is its own category, go figure). It was in my size, but unwearably tight and vise-like. Also received a pair of too-short tights. Customer service, “Mike”, who I’ve dealt with in an unpleasant incident before, said that I could just ship the whole order back, even if I’ve tried on some things, as they dispose of returned garments. I offered to return the cami for something that fit. I thought I had read something about them being willing to correct their own sizing errors, but I guess not. Disappointing. I’m about done with them.
Again they don’t have enough items for me 🙁 This is the 2nd month in a row. They told me they were getting in a bunch of items this week but, it still hasn’t been shipped. They refunded my order last month due to the month being nearly over and still had nothing to ship me.
I really hope they can send a box out to me… This would be my 2nd box. 1st box wasn’t a hit because I filled out my profile to allow “wild” prints… Lol. I did receive a damaged item, which they replaced immediately. I’m crossing my fingers 🙂 I sent an email their way so, hopefully I’ll hear something soon.
I’m pretty much done with Wantables. The first month, they sent me a box half filled with items too small, and half too large. Last month, half the items were missing from my box. They sent me the other items weeks later, but one of the new items was damaged, so then I had to wait for it to be replaced as well. I was offered a discount, and promised there would be no issues in October. They charged my card clear back on the 5th, and they have still not even shipped out my items, so now I am having to contact them again! It has been a nightmare to deal with them.
I got the exact same items as Liz, except for the maxi . . . so, only 3 items. Unless they count the pj set as 2 items? Not sure what to think about that, but the items I received are nice.
I had two horrible months with Wantable so I cancelled. They did refund my month but I was so sad about it not working. I just don’t think they have enough products for me as a plus sized woman.
I had terrible boxes 4-5 months in a row (hideous animal prints, badly made junior items, unwearable shape wear, formless/unflattering soft bra, etc.), which I kept on returning, and finally canceled my sub in August. Then Wantable invited me to re-sub with 50% coupon so I decided to give it a chance one more time. Sept box arrived, and voilà, it was the BEST box ever! I got the same black maxi as Liz’s, which I love! and I’d be happy if I receive a Coobie bra every month! For now I’ll keep this sub and see if this goodness continues…
Seriously getting frustrated with this box. Third month in a row where they don’t have enough for a box for me. I have Lounge wear, Leggings to love, Tanks and Camis to Like I’m a large basically – other than the socks, I’d love this whole box.
Very frustrated, amended my survey and I’d even love a duplicate of the lounge pants I got last month. I also received a HOT PINK capri legging and I Have neutrals set NOT brights. Very frustrated with Wantables right now.
I’m a size large and notice that if I let my box ship at the normal time (bill the 15th) they tend to take longer to fill it. What I now do is run the survey earlier forcing it to bill earlier and haven’t had any problems.
I received my box last week. I received the same black maxi and grey short set. I also received blue pattern boottights which made me happy because I want to try them up. I’m very pleased.
The key to getting the best value along with the product types you want most is getting your profile right. If you don’t like wild prints, dislike it completely and love neutrals. If you hate socks, dislike socks. Ditto soft bras. If they have a way to cheap Charlie their way through the box, like any customizable sub, they’re likely to take it, so if you like or love panties and/or socks and tights, you’ll definitely get multiples. I haven’t had a bad box in almost 2 years but it took deciphering what each category meant and that required me calling CS and asking questions. I don’t like plain things so learned I had to dislike neutrals/solid colors. I haven’t found a soft bra that would hold my hooters yet so I dislike the category but tested it once and was shocked to get a soft bra that held the girls in and up, lol. I know that any month I like panties and/or socks, I will get 3/4 items in those categories, so I deliberately dislike them. Leaving any category set to “like” makes them fair game, even if you love way more categories than those you like. It’s best to focus on specific item types and colors each month, limit it to two and set it as either neutral or brights and leave it at that (you can’t dislike everything but one category, for obvious reasons from a business perspective). For those who like to/have time to shop Kohls, TJ Maxx and other discount stores, this probably isn’t the best value sub for you since you can often find items cheaper there (I don’t ever consider value comparisons from eBay or even A,azon due to counterfeits and possible used things being passed off as new, ew!). But for someone like me who primarily online shops due to a lack of time (unless I’m shopping with a client I’m styling, and haven’t done that in 3 months now), this is an ideal sub that usually includes good brands and value consistently. In short, it’s what you make of it based on your individual situation.
I LOVE the maxi! Fingers crossed I get one! I have loungewear as my only love, do you think that’s the category that the nightgown is under? My box ships in 2 days, so I wanna get my profile right to get this nightgown 😉
My maxi is a lavender color. At first I thought WTF I’ll never wear that….then I tried it on and never want to take it off. I want it in other colors now too! This is why I love sub boxes….something you don’t think you will like you end up loving!

Got my first Intimates box yesterday! It was awful! They sent me a leopard print padded bra/corset number with garters…seriously? And 2 pair of too small tights when I did not ask for legwear and a very plain black soft bra. I would have loved the box that Liz got …so cute! I was so disappointed that I cancelled my memberships with Wantables – as got a bad box of jewelry as well… So sad>>>

I got the racerback tank pink w/black trim. Cute & SO soft. Like Liz I was ecstatic to receive the black maxi! Perfect fit and again, luxuriously soft. I also got a silk-like negligee & matching thong. What a jackpot!!! This was my first Wantable Intimates box and boy am I excited for my next box!
I was already subscribed to Wantable Makeup for 3 months. I have not been impressed and will be cancelling that one. : (
I got the Coral Babydoll set that Liz received last month, and then three soft bras. Three soft bras? Really? I was disappointed that there wasn’t a little more variety. There were sure enough categories that they could have picked from! This was my first month… not sure I’m wanting to continue on.
Oh I forgot the best piece! THE most gorgeous pair of sheer ivory lace hipster panties I’ve ever seen in my life. Not something I’d have picked for myself but I really love them!
October was my first Wantable box. I received the maxi dress and LOVE it. It is a little big but very comfy and my husband says very flattering.
I received a pair of leggings with socks built in and two pairs of panties that were perfect size and oh so pretty. I was very happy with my box.
I must add … My boxes almost always have a value around $80 and Liz’s boxes usually are closer to $100. I have a similar profile, not exactly the same though. Perhaps liking panties gives me a lower value box… Not sure. I was thinking that by liking panties I might occasionally get a 5th item as a panty. But I still only get 4 items and one is usually a panty so maybe I’ll take that off my profile and then get higher value boxes.
That’s been my strategy – I cut out categories that tend to have lower values. So no panties or regular socks for me!
I got the same maxi and socks, but the socks we’re purple/grey color scheme. Also got a cupcake thing that’s super cute and a coobie one size fits all soft bra in a peach color. I had my tank size as large, but I’m really a medium so I got sent a large maxi. I thought about returning it but decided to keep it even though it’s big and I changed my profile back to medium. I had it at large bc I received a couple things that were too small before.
Oh that maxi is amazing! I love me some wantable!
