Vegan Cuts Beauty Box Review - September 2014 Derma E

My Goodness Deodorant Sample - .4 oz Value $3.25 (Sample is free on their site, but costs $3.25 to ship)

derma e Micodermabrasion Scrub - 1 oz Value $16.25

The regular full size version of this scrub is 2 oz, so this is a great sized sample. Derma e seems to be great for sensitive skin too, so this will be perfect for the winter. One of my biggest pet peeves with natural deodorants, is that they don't come in easy to apply containers! I may give this a try, but I really want to find a natural deodorant that is easy to put on in the morning!

Vegan Cuts Beauty Box Review - September 2014 Mascara

Suncoat Natural Mascara - FULL SIZE! Value $15

Clark's Botanicals Deluxe Deep Moisture Mask - .5 oz Value $21

Lunatick Cosmetic Labs Eyeshadow in Dr. Jekyll - 3 g Value $7.20

This mascara is your typical natural mascara formula - non-irritating and good for a more natural look. I'll definitely use it, but nothing tops my Tarte mascara yet! This eyeshadow was sealed and still made this mess in shipping! It looked a little intimidating in the container (AKA too sparkly) but it goes on pretty sheer and the effect is a subtle golden/bronze look with a hint of sparkle.

Verdict: This month's Vegan Cuts Beauty Box has a value of about $62! I'm impressed with the value and I like that everything they sent was mostly full size or deluxe sized. I'll use everything with the exception of maybe the deodorant, so this is a good month for me. What do you think of the September Vegan Cuts Beauty Box?

I’m kinda surprised at some of the prices you listed. My eyeshadow had very little in it. Either I got a bum sample or that teeny little bit was $7.20. But the mask sample at $21? Was that a typo?

My eyeshadow sample definitely was full, so maybe you didn’t get a fair sample. I’d reach out to Vegan Cuts and let them know. Also, I calculated the $21 value of the mask based on the 1.7 oz full-size version which retails for $72 – it’s a very expensive mask! 🙂

Do you always get the little pink bag? You show one in every review for this box, yet I’ve never gotten one with mine EVER and I’ve subbed to this box for quite some time now. Just curious!

Liz, Have you tried deodorant by Live Beautifully? I’m pretty sure I’ve tried every natural deodorant out there and this one is by far the best! My husband loves it too! We both smell fresh and clean even after a whole day of work and weight lifting/running/yoga. You can buy their products on etsy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/LiveBeautifullyBody?section_id=11921462&ref=shopsection_leftnav_7 Oh it comes in a stick form 🙂

I love the dermaE scrub; I bought that in full-size from an ipsyME deal a couple of months back. I still have some and I’ve been using it 3 times a week. And I found it at a decent price at Whole Foods so when I want more, I know where to get it. Cheaper than dr. brandt and for me, a similar level of effectiveness.

The Homegrown Collective DIY coconut deodorant came with a tube for easy application 🙂 This is an interesting box.

I love Herban Cowboy Deodorant – it comes in a stick like regular deodorant and works great!
