Saw a sneak peak at my bags!! I Have 3 bags. So I’m getting the Laura Mercier, in one ,Glam Glow , and Elizabeth Arden in the other two. I was hoping to get Tarte. But I’m so excited to get the Laura Mercier since it comes with a cute brush 🙂 can’t wait for all 3 bags to arrive.

Be a bombshell eye base, ck one color lip gloss, clariSEA Solutions glow powder exfoliant ,glamglow dualcleanse treatment and Marc Anthony Oil of Morocco Argan Oil Volume Shine Hairspray.

I just got a sneak peak of my Ipsy bag, and again it’s another crappy month. I got the Temptu, the thing I wanted least. I got roll on perfume, which I hate getting perfumes in boxes, eyeliner, which I don’t need anymore of, yet another nail polish and the only good thing is a lip crayon. After having Ipsy for a few months now, I’ve only had one good month, why Ipsy, why??

Try changing your beauty profile. Change your answers to each question don’t select nail products, etc and only select items your really in. I was getting two bags and for awhile I was gettin meh bags. So I tweaked each profile one one I said I only liked skin care, lips and tools and the other the complete opposite. Now I seem to be getting the best bags. I even signed up for another account so I get three bags now. 🙂 so it took me a few attempts but I finally fixed each account profile to include different products. So try that and I hope you get better bags soon.

I actually contacted Ipsy directly because I have been a long time subscriber who reviews all of my products, has re-taken the quiz multiple times yet I still get the opposite of my preferences and they explained to me that the quiz is only a guideline (which I already knew) and they are sorry that I somehow keep ending up with products that I specifically give low reviews and have had unchecked on my quiz since the beginning. I have received eyeliner and face cleanser multiple months in a row where I’ve always given those items poor reviews and like I said, aren’t highlighted in my quiz. I also have drugstore items unchecked (no target, cvs, ect..) and always end up with a drugstore item if they are a part of the bag. I use many drugstore products but I prefer not to receive them in my Ipsy bag because for me, they are easily attainable and I like being able to try different brands that I normally wouldn’t have. I understand 10.00 isn’t a lot of money, and I’m not asking to have a great bag every month or to always get what I want but I do expect it to be a little more personalized since this is what they ADVERTISE as being and when they are not, it’s false advertising. I’ve tried every ‘trick’ in the book to get it to cater more to my profile and every month it’s the opposite. I continue to stay with them because of the low price and the cute makeup bag but I highly contest it being personalized because I’ve been proven opposite.

Same here – I’m getting the Temptu as well. I was planning on cancelling this month since I was able to use up my Ipsy points, but last month was decent and if this month would have been better I would’ve considered staying. Unfortunately, this month is going to be a bust, and I will definitely be cancelling now. I hate to sound like I’m complaining because I know the bag is always worth the money. I just always feel like my bag is made up of the worst items out of the bunch.

I have tried Glam Glow and I absolutely love their facial masks, I would be happy if I got the Glam Glow, Tarte, or Laura Mercier. I I have never tried IT…I don’t want the Temptu or the Elizabeth Arden….I have a feeling that I will get stuck with the ones I don’t want…I will wait and see!

I absolutely love all these brands! I’ve been wanting to try Glam Glow so here’s hoping I get that. If I got the Tarte Oil, I would give that to my mom because she loves it. I would honestly be happy to get any of these! So excited! 😀

You could be stuck for months. It doesn’t seem to actually reflect the amount of open spots but a way to make it feel like an exclusive club. I did the three things- like them on FB, follow all their bloggers on you-tube and a third thing that I don’t remember. I actually don’t even have a FB account, I just whipped one together so I could like them. Ipsy is my only FB friend. Sad, right?

After 7 months of ipsy, I had unsubbed after slowly realizing I didn’t like most of the cheap brands they send out and having a sucky point system that couldn’t make up for lame bags. I got an email showing this post, and decided to take a chance again and resub. I swear if I get that d*mn Temptu or Elizabeth Arden I’m unsubbing again.

I didn’t! But I used the 50% off coupon code and got $90 worth of samples (face lotion, exfoliator, and cleanser) for $14! I LOVE all three of them, especially the exfoliator!

I’m hoping for the glam glow. I love the tarte oil though. I use it on a regular basis, so travel size bottle would still be welcomed. If they included 1 of everything in my bag and called it a day I would be happy this month. I am excited about all of these spoilers.

The Tarte Maracuja oil is fabulous! And it also works in moderation for hair. Can’t have too much of it.

Fingers crossed I don’t get stuck with the Temptu product. It’s pretty much useless unless you have the airbrush system. I tried using their products in my Luminesse and it didn’t quite work. But, if it is the airbrush-only stuff, those who do own it will probably hit the jackpot in the swaps! I’m all in favor of the GlamGlow, Tarte, It and Laura Mercier, so I’ve got a 4/6 chance of being happy. I like those odds.

I love Laura Mercier, I can only pray to get that product. My Ipsy bag has been disappointing so far, one great bag out of five.
