Darn– Just got the Melissa paleo box. A real bummer. I priced the items on Amazon, and they came out to about $60. And the only thing I liked is a little plastic egg holder in the shape of a humpty-dumpty knight figurine ($10 on Amazon). No idea what to do with a weird black salt (no recipe was included). Mug was mugly. Tea – I can get that at Whole Foods. A nut bar – ditto – Whole Foods. Usually I”m two strikes your out, but this might be one strike and out. Thanks to the poster who explained that one can return a Quarterly box.

I sorted the Quarterly boxes by shipping soon and it looks like AH might bill tomorrow. I’m guessing because Hiltha looked like her box was going to bill this week and now it looks pushed back. This is PURE speculation, but I do find that the shipping soon is accurate most of the time.

The mug image wouldn’t load in Firefox. I finally opened the page in another browser just to see what everyone was talking about. Yeah, that’s pretty weird. Plus I’ll bet you can’t microwave it because of the finish on the handle.

I had no idea that a Quarterlyu box could be returned. I received one a while back that I was not happy with and just sucked it up. Is it hard returning a box?

Not at all. Just send an email telling them unhappy and they will send you prepaid ups label to ship back. I have returned at least 2 boxes I was unhappy with.

Quarterly just sent out an update to those subscribed to Animal’s box, it has been delayed and will now ship in November. The theme is confirmed as Italian Cuisine and will feature tools & ingredients as well as a recipe from the Animal kitchen.

For what it’s worth. I ended up loving AH’s first box. I used everything in it and even ended up signing up for a full year of the meditation app. The book was great and the curation was great. I will say this is a box people either loved or returned but I have to say this probably one of my favorite boxes.

Oh Liz, NOOOOOOOOOOOOO Spoilers for your box please. Maybe a tease but I love just getting the box and not knowing anything, I am so in love with all the items you picked. It is the best box ever. I stopped getting PSMH so I could get your box and with all the computer problems they are having I am so glad you box came out when it did. Your AWESOME.

Neither of these spoilers intrigue me enough to sub to these boxes. Liz you sent a very high standard and these boxes just don’t hold a flame to yours!! I am dying to know what will be in YOur next box as well as Nina’s and Eva’s. I was charged for Eva’s this week so I can’t wait for it to ship. Do you know of any spoilers for her box Liz?

Did you order Eva's box? I'm hoping to get a really nice lux beauty tool in her box. the first box is always so nerve racking, not knowing what to expect in a sub, but its also the fun and appeal of subbing. Thanks again Liz!
