Nerd Block Junior Boys Subscription Box Review – Sept 2014 Hot Wheels

Hot Wheels 1999 First Editions Car - Value $3

Pokemon Sticker Set - Value $2?

I couldn't find this exact sticker set online so I'm estimating on the value.

Nerd Block Junior Boys Subscription Box Review – Sept 2014 Brain Cell

Giant Microbes Brain Cell - Value $10

Scribblenauts Unmasked – Value $10

This Brain Cell plush is featured in both the girls and boys junior boxes this month. (And the Scriblenauts mystery figure was also in the NerdBlock Classic box!)

Nerd Block Junior Boys Subscription Box Review – Sept 2014 Sonic

Sonic The Hedgehog Pull Backs Racer - Value $8? (This is the Amazon price, but seems a little high).

The Trash Pack Mystery Bag - Value $2? (Another item I couldn't find online for pricing).

Verdict: We paid $20 for this box (shipped) and received about $35 worth of items. We use this subscription for gifts, and I think pretty much every item in this box is a good stocking stuffer type gift! (I'm already in holiday shopping mode!)

What do you think of the September Nerd Block Junior Boys Box?

I showed this review to my son (age 8), as he asked me to cancel his subscription after last month, since he almost never got anything he thought was cool. (Last month, he said it was “all junk”). Anyway, he looked at this and said he was glad I canceled because it made him sad to be disappointed every month, and this box looked as bad or worse.

I think your prices may be a bit off. The mystery box (my son said it’s silly to send kids things to put on a shelf instead of play with) has a value of $4.95 at most places I looked (http://www.atomicempire.com/item.aspx?item=146155). Sonic Racer $3.99 here (http://www.bbtoystore.com/store/GTB_STH_PBR_random.html).

He said he’d be really mad about the stickers. He loves Pokemon, but he’d want actual cards to play and trade, not stickers.
